I would like to say a huge thank you to the staff members who helped me this morning (22nd March) with my prescription and application form. This is our local pharmacy and the staff there is always so helpful. Thank you!
The last three times I've had to collect a prescription, I have had issues. They didn't have my inhaler in stock and they said they would txt me when it came in. After a few weeks I went to the store to ask if they had received a delivery as I'd no more inhalers. They told me they still didn't have it but had an alternative but I'd have to go back to the Dr to get a different prescription. They shouldhavecalled me sooner to relay this. I took the prescription back and went to Boots instead. The next time, they only had half of my medication and said they would txt when it was in stock. After waiting several weeks I still hadn't had a txt so went in to ask if they had the remaining medication and they said as I'd left it too long to come in, they'd binned them! They had my mobile number but hadn't txt me. I got another prescription for the binned medication and my Dr sent this across to Tesco. After 12 days I still hadn't received a txt so went in to the store. They asked if I'd received a txt and I said 'No, but you've had my prescription for 12 days". When they gave me my medication the label had been printed 12 days before but again they hadn't bothered txt me. I am never going to use Tesco pharmacy again.
Pick up prescription for my husband. One of the staff asked me would I like to check my blood pressure. After check, reading was not very good and she said will send my reading to my gp, hopefully will get appt from them. She also gave me a copy incase i didnt hear anything from GP. Surprising LESS than a day, I really got text message appointment from my GP. Many thanks to Tesco chemist that really did good job. If not, not sure how much time I need to spend to get an appt from GP.
I used to pick my prescriptions from here before i moved to another area and i needed my insulin urgently as i ran out and didn't notice i had none left , they were very kind and helped me and gave me emergency supply so i do not go without my medication. Very happy to receive same service as i used to get is still provided by staff.
I went really late to pick up a prescription and staff was super nice and knew that i needed my medication urgently and they helped me so much , they were super friendly and polite and i am very thankful to the staff for dispensing my sons antibiotics so my son does not go without his first dose. thanks again to the pharmacy staff.
Really helpful and polite staff, take repeat prescription requests over phone, so much easier than trying to get through to your GP.
Don't always have the items you require in stock. But you can get your GP to send prescriptions to them electronically
I would like to thank the two pharmacist working there on Friday evening whom helped me to get my prescription. Visit date Friday evening 11th November 2022 at 8 pm. Although they didn't stock my medication they helped me to redirect my emergency medication to another pharmacy. Thanks again.
Brilliant service, it's beyond 5stars for me. My family and I use the service regularly and the staff has been always helpful and polite. I went to get a prescribed milk for my infant baby and there was none in the pharmacy at the time and one of the staff members who was not serving me made numerous calls to other pharmacies locally to check the stocks and came to the counter and hand me the address of the pharmacy, that was very ,thoughtful and went beyond and above to help us. Thank you
