   The supervisor administered two flu vaccinations to my grandmother instead of one flu jab and one COVID-19 jab as scheduled. This mistake only came to light after the team at Nelson surgery informed us. What is most upsetting is that the pharmacy made no effort to contact her to explain or apologise for the error. This is a serious lapse in care and professionalism. I would strongly advise others to avoid this pharmacy.

   I was patiently waiting in the queue for my prescription, and when it was finally my turn, this woman, Kaliyani, decided to serve someone else instead. To make matters worse, she chose to assist an Asian customer, even though I was next in line. As a British white male, I couldn’t help but feel singled out and treated unfairly. Not only did she ignore my rightful turn, but she also spoke to me in a far more rude and dismissive manner compared to how she interacted with the other customer. Her behaviour struck me as unprofessional, and frankly, it left me wondering if there was an element of prejudice involved.

   The staff here are well experienced and well equipped, they do there job efficiently and quickly, ensuring that everyone gets their medicines quickly and properly, their teamwork ensures that as well. The pharmacy is always clean, there is always someone to help you with any inquiries and also give good medical advice if you should need it. I definitely recommend coming here for quick and efficient service if there is an emergency.

   I had a total of four days of placements in my first year as a pharmacy student at the Nelson's pharmacy. I have benefitted tremendously from the knowledgeable staff at the pharmacy and learnt skills beyond those covered in the placement booklet. whether the dispenser, the pharmacist, the manager or the pre- registration pharmacist - every staff member was dexterous and skilled at their job. They were approachable and facilitated my learning from day one. I had an unforgettable experience and learnt a great deal about the operations of the pharmacy and the nhs. I am very grateful for this opportunity!

   This place is a complete waste of time avoid at all costs! Texting me 2x to say my prescription is ready when I went to collect it they told me to wait 15 minutes as they haven't dispensed it. After waiting for 20 minutes while they were preparing the medication they realised that all they had to do was check the bagged item area to find my prepared meds. Complete waste of time. They have no idea what they're doing.

   I have had a terrible experience collecting a prescription, mistakes can happen and I understand that but there is no room for rudeness and poor customer service! Not even an apology for wasting my time over 1 week Try to avoid this place for your own sanity and self respect.

   I visited this pharmacy recently with my ears being completely blocked with the wax. I was seen by Doctor Abid, a highly professional pharmacist who carefully and gently removed the wax. I didn’t know that the wax can accumulate and stay in your ears, having block the tubes and this causes a deafness. In this case the wax must be removed by the specialist. Now I know that the ears, like eyesight, must be checked on a regular bases. I would highly recommend the Nelson Pharmacy for this, especially Doctor Abid. Thank you, Doctor, so much!
