Rude unprofessional staff that most of the time seem to look at you with suspicion or arrogance (mostly the middle aged lady that has been there for a while), but some of the older gentlemen too sometimes. The last straw was when my partner went to pick up his blood pressure medication (repeat prescription) the other day and he came home with the wrong dosage (fair enough he should have checked there and then) but when he followed up with a call the next day they answered the phone in a very unprofessional way and were rude and dismissive too on top of it. We changed this place from our regular farmacy to a different one, won’t use them again!
Wonderful and experienced staff who were extremely kind and helpful to me today, assisting me with an issue with my infant son. Nothing was too much hassle and they went out of their way for us. Thank you all very much!
Very nice people and seems well stocked. My only gripe is that it's incredibly expensive. Every time I buy something, I go back thinking 'wow, that was expensive', Google and find I've paid way over the norm compared to other pharmacies. I've just come home with some throat pastilles which appear to have cost me 20% more than they would elsewhere. I've now resolved only to get my prescriptions from them. It's not fair to stick up such a huge margin on basic products that people are buying to make themselves feel better.
Please note: they advertise in the window their walk in flu jab service however they neglect to say walk ins only between 14.00-16.00 with appointments only outside those times. Waste of time going there this morning
Went in for my covid booster. Walked out with my covid booster. Kind administration of the jab with a very nice administrator. No pain. Will go back when in need of a chemist.
Very rude. I came yesterday for a cough syrup and the chemist behind the counter was very unhelpful. I would never come back again.
This pharmacy used to be very average, but a new owner/manager took over the business few months ago, and since then the quality of service and attitude of the staff have improved significantly. I am extremely pleased with my recent experiences at Windwood. A wonderful and much needed addition to our community.
An exemplar of why we here in Britain are so very, fortunate to have the NHS.For example:- My prescriptions from the gp practice are always dealt with and ready for collection so quickly. Superb service. Simply the Best!
