A reasonable selection of over the counter medicines due to the size of the shop, but where they really score is as a dispensing chemist. As my appointed pharmacist via my NHS app and their automated picking system their service is first class.

Really good service and they really know their stuff. They are knowledgeable and explain things really well so I could make an informed choice. I am so pleased they carefully checked the choices to see which would not interfere with what I am already on and really saved me on that one! I am really glad to have been recommended this place and will come again.

I visited Sable Chemist in Hendon today — the larger branch of the pharmacy I rely on weekly for vital medication. Their smaller branch (also named Sable Chemist and less than a mile away) is where I usually collect my prescriptions. I’ve received medication from both branches before, so I assumed there would be some level of cooperation or continuity between them. As my regular branch is closed on weekends and I had forgotten about the bank holiday on Monday, I was hoping this nearby branch could help me by issuing two pills to get me through until Tuesday. I brought my dosage box and ID as proof, explained the situation clearly, and even offered for them to be reimbursed by the other branch or for me to swap the pills. What I received instead was a complete lack of empathy, compassion, or even basic courtesy. The staff member refused to help, claiming it “wasn’t worth their while” to open a box — a chilling response when you consider that this is medication vital to my sleep and health. Her tone was cold, her manner unkind, and I left feeling humiliated and upset. Pharmacy staff deal with vulnerable people every day — people who are ill, anxious, elderly, or struggling. To be met with such an unfeeling attitude, over something so simple and easily resolved, is beyond disappointing — it’s deeply concerning. I would expect far better from a healthcare provider, and I believe this experience should be a serious reflection point for the management of Sable Chemist.

The staff is truly exceptional—knowledgeable, kind, and always willing to go above and beyond to assist their customers. Their professionalism and genuine care create a welcoming atmosphere, making every visit a pleasant one. It's rare to find such dedication and commitment to customer service, and I truly appreciate their hard work. This pharmacy sets a high standard for excellence, and I highly recommend it to anyone in need of reliable and compassionate care. Thank you for your amazing service!"

Absolutely disgusting and rude!! It looks like no one, who works there, has a clue about what they are doing!the older lady with the short greyish hair, was extremely rude and so unfair

One of the worst customer service I have experienced in a pharmacy. I have walked in, all the staff were talking about how annoyed they are over a colleague. 1 person walked pass the counter, walked back up and carried on like they didn’t see me, others saw me standing at the counter and just looked back and carried on talking. I have to actually asked can I get some service please?! The lady served me and I have to ask how much is the medicine after she scanned it. I would not recommend this pharmacy due to poor customer services and unprofessionalism.

We've used Sabel chemist for many years. A family run business, they offer a great service, including free delivery which has helped us immensely.

I have been collecting various prescription medications from here for the past 6 months. What was a one-off collection turned into a my regular chemists thanks to their friendly service. They offer a whatsapp line to ask them about repeat medication, and have helped me navigate the bizarro world of accessing GP services when I had a mystery rash.
