    usually like Costa, but this particular cafΓ© was the worst experience I’ve ever had. The staff member didn’t even greet us β€” she literally talked to us with her back turned, clearly annoyed and in a rush. She didn’t offer any help or tell us about the menu, so I couldn’t even choose something interesting to try. Her attitude was cold and dismissive, and I couldn’t shake the feeling that she was being racist toward me because of my accent. Absolutely unacceptable. I left completely upset and will never return to this branch.

    Half an hour before closing and was asked if i could take out rather than sit in. Not friendly and was tutted at!

    I have been a regular customer of Costa for many years, but I've noticed some unprofessional behavior from certain staff members at the location in Livingston, inside Next. On one occasion, I was served a completely burnt fruit cake. When I asked to have it replaced, the staff member told me that if I ordered another one, it would likely end up burnt again, just like the first. I then asked him to bake it for half the usual time instead. In another instance, when I requested English breakfast tea, the staff member checked the teapot by putting his nose near it to determine whether it contained English breakfast or Earl Grey tea. I examined the teapot in front of him, and when he asked if everything was okay, I pointed out what he had done. However, he never apologized for his actions or offered to give me a new tea. I found this behavior to be quite disgusting.

    Extremely Disappointed with Service at Costa – Management Needs to Take Note If I could give zero stars, I would. The service at Costa today was appalling. Long wait times on a busy Saturday were expected, but what wasn’t expected was the rude and dismissive attitude from staff. Two elderly women and I stood in line for about 30 minutes with no explanation for the delay. When we calmly mentioned the wait, we were told to β€œgo somewhere else.” Staff members EESHA and a male colleague were neither polite nor apologetic. No respect for elders or customers. There were no greetings or thanks, just loud sighs, plates & trays being banged, and zero regard for customers. When the daughter of one of the elderly women returned to question the rude treatment, the staff responded poorly again. My 3-year-old showed more patience than the staff. This experience has left such a bad impression that I WON’T be returning. Costa management needs to address this urgently if they want to maintain their customer base

    One of my favorite places when visiting Livingston Outlet. Excellent service and energetic and courteous staff.
