   Terrible experience with this pharmacy. I have been lied to on multiple occasions, and the conduct of staff is completely unacceptable. Staff have overstepped professional boundaries, even attempting to tell me how much medication my child should be taking; despite the correct dosage being prescribed by a doctor for my child with allergies and reflux. This is highly inappropriate and not the role of a pharmacist, especially when speaking to a mother postpartum. The behaviour of both the lady on the desk and the young man who dispenses is consistently rude and dismissive. Each time I have asked to speak with the manager, I am told he is “too busy.” I have requested the complaints procedure three times and it has never been provided, making it very clear they either do not have one or refuse to allow complaints to be escalated. I was also told this is a “trainee pharmacy” after the desk staff gave me incorrect information. However, this explanation is untrue, as the same person has previously provided correct information regarding my child’s prescriptions. After speaking directly with the doctors next door to confirm if my order has been changed from repeat to needing to call a doctor weekly, it was confirmed that the pharmacy had lied and this has been an on going theme with other patients. Every week my child has the same order, I was told by the young dispenser that they “do not order stock for only my child” in a tone, after I had already ordered the medication in, today my mum was informed the medication they have in stock are “for another child” even though I was previously told this is not how the pharmacy can operate, so even if I manage to get an emergency prescription today, they would not give the medication in stock as it’s for “another child” I am deeply disappointed and concerned, particularly knowing that elderly patients and others in the community may be subjected to the same treatment. This level of dishonesty and unprofessionalism is unacceptable in healthcare, I will be going to GPHC about this pharmacy.CQC and NHS England. To save other parents going through a similar situation with this local pharmacy. It is a shame as some staff like Tracey, have gone above and beyond to support where possible, the rest of the team have really let this pharmacy’s standards down.

   This is a very busy yet hard working pharmacy team. Mr Whitaker himself is very kind to his vulnerable and older patients with who he knows by name. They keep a good stock, meaning only some things are for ordering in, and then they arrive very fast. Yes, they do not pick up the phone well, should be improved, but they are very kind, helpful informative. I would feel v confident having a Pharmacist Consultation, with Mr Whitaker. who is v experienced, kind and caring. Many vaccines can be given and the range of services is very broad. They remain the best pharmacy service in the area.

   Amazing pharmacy! Best in town. The young blonde girl who served me on the till was fabulous, bright, smiley and full of enthusiasm. She was quick in serving me and held good customer service throughout.

   Staff need training in customer service! I approached the counter with a product and asked a question and was ignored by the 2 young ladies behind the counter. Waited a moment then asked again and the response was "yea". Not very professional. Will go elsewhere in future.

   Fantastic service from Whittakers this evening. My elderly mum needed a prescription from her dentist urgently but there is a national shortage of antibiotics and so they were out of stock. But they were so kind and liaised with the dentist to change the prescription to something they could provide and my mum now has what she needs. I am so grateful to them.

   Worst pharmacy I have ever been to. Everyone is disorganised and stands around not doing much. Pharmacist (not the Asian guy) is rude and they never have your prescription ready. Wait around for ages in complete chaos while nobody does anything. The girl in there is friendly enough but the complete disorganisation is a joke. Gave it a good chance but was the same every visit. Have since changed. Thank god.
