If I could, I wouldn’t give this place even one star! I have never been so poorly attended to and mistreated in a place before. It doesn’t even seem like a place whose purpose is to take care of people’s health. The owner of this place should be ashamed to stay open with the kind of employees he hires to work there rude and unprepared. I have always spent a lot on medications in this disgusting place, but I will definitely never go back, and I am already looking into my rights as a consumer! I arrived at the pharmacy at exactly 5:53, after a difficult night and day with my baby. I managed to attend a private consultation and get prescriptions so I could start the treatment as soon as possible. I went to this dreadful place to buy the medicines. I showed the private prescription and immediately noticed the assistant’s annoyed expression. She came back and started complaining that they were closing at 6 pm. I told her I didn’t know because on the door there is an old sticker with the shadow of the previous hours, meaning that anyone checking from outside sees 6:30pm! I apologized and said I genuinely didn’t know they closed at 6 pm. But I was there getting medicine for my child. After a few minutes she got the medicine and returned with my phone, and I told her from the beginning that I had another prescription, but she didn’t seem to listen. I went to open the second prescription, and they simply started turning off the lights and said they would not serve me anymore. Completely lacking empathy and manners toward a mother seeking help for her child’s health. How can a place that works with people and more importantly, deals with people’s lives have employees who behave like that? With no care for the customer, and especially for a human being’s life. I started crying from the stress, because my child was left without the second medication. And I was extremely mistreated by the staff, who mocked my English as if they couldn’t understand what I was saying. The medicine was prescribed privately and paid for! And even if it wasn’t, I would never expect to be treated with such lack of empathy. At my job, if any problem appears five minutes before closing, I must solve it! I cannot simply drop everything, switch off the lights and leave. That is called responsibility. And the next day, if necessary, I adjust the extra hours or minutes. This behavior is unacceptable for healthcare service providers and the NHS. To make it clear to the owner, I am seeking my rights regarding the mistreatment I suffered on 25/11/2025.

There seems to be a lot of negative reviews of this place, but in comparison to the local Boots, this pharmacy is amazing. Firstly, they will pick up your phone - sometimes you may need to call twice, but they do pick up. Boots would never. They have all the essential medications ready on the same day, and at Boots I had to wait 3 days to get very commonly prescribed antibiotic. At Boots I had to wait 5 days for my repeat prescription that they already filled many times. In this pharmacy it’s always ready on time, and when my repeat prescription was changed to a lower dose, they called me to check if this was correct or if I needed them to contact my GP to issue more. When I was in the pharmacy I was offered free vaccinations as a walk-in instead of having to schedule. I was always given great advice when it comes to vitamins and dealing with other small health ailments. They even ordered a beauty product I requested so I could buy it there instead of ordering online. Exceptional service that puts patient care first. Highly recommended!

Avoid this pharmacy at all costs! Truly appalling service, never seen anything like it before. They don’t pick up the phone, they don’t order your prescriptions after the GP has issued them, they never let you know if a prescription is ready for collection — and they keep making excuses to somehow try to pin all their shortcomings on the customer. Here’s one of many examples, from today: my medication was approved by my GP and I hadn’t received any news from St. Clare nearly two weeks later. I phoned them repeatedly (at different times of the day), yet my calls were never taken — at some point, they even started picking up the phone only to hang up immediately. I decided to go in and make the call from inside the shop to see what was going on. There were 3 staff members in there and a single customer, who was already being served. Again, no one picked up the phone. When I confronted them about it, one of them had the nerve to say they don’t pick up the phone because they are busy making sure customers aren’t given the wrong medication. When it was my turn to be served, they said my medication wasn’t in stock. I asked why, or if they were planning to ever tell me, since it had been approved nearly two weeks back; they gave me some bogus answer that I needed to have called the pharmacy to confirm that I indeed wanted them to order the medication — which is ridiculous right off the bat because it’s their job to just order it once the GP sends the prescription to them, but even more so when you take into account that they simply do not answer the phone. So in short: you’re left without medication because they don’t order it unless you call them to chase it up, but if you did call them you’d still be without medication anyway because you can’t reach them. And even if you miraculously manage to get past all of that, you may still be left without medication because they don’t call or text to let you know that it’s ready for collection (the guy said “there are too many customers, we can’t be notifying each and every one”). This is not to mention many other issues faced by myself and other customers that I’ve seen. A complete lack of respect for people’s time and health, please take the reviews to heart and find another pharmacy.

Absoluty horrid…. First they don’t order your prescription as they want to confirm you pick it up …. Delaying the process massively and put strain or your health witch can life threatening. Sometimes They don’t know what they are doing withholding medicine that has been prescribed (this was a while back ) ( asthma) wich has caused my child to end up in a&e ….

Have used this pharmacy a few times but will not be supporting this business going forward. There is no such thing as customer service here. Everytime I have been, Staff have made me feel very unwelcomed and the atmosphere is very uncomfortable. They can't even be bothered to talk to you when being served, they just point at what they want you to do. The owner needs to address this asap as staff morale in obviously very low.

I suppose typical customer service that you could expect, rather ignorant and intrusive, like a pay as you go top up where they want to see cash before even acknowledging you.

This pharmacy is only used when I feel I have no other choice. The staff are generally dismissive and customer service is poor. I like the fact they do travel vaccinations but things could be more organised - for example I have collected large prescription orders and they have left one thing out meaning I have to return to get the one item they’ve missed out. The store did have a big refurbishment which is wonderful but perhaps an overall moral / attitude change should come with that.

The service is so terrible. I look after someone with Parkinson’s . They are supposed to deliver the blister pack to him , 3 times was not delivered. Once the medicine was not done properly. Good think I check always . Pharmacy staff ok but the ladies are not very helpful.

The service here is terrible, I asked for some advice on a cough and before I finished my sentence, the pharmacist pulled out three things she said I should buy - I tried to explain my symptoms in more detail but she stopped me mid-sentence and say the items she suggested is what I needed. After paying I realised I needed a bag and she bit my head off and said I should of told her before hand. This place is also very expensive. One bitten twice shy, I won’t be going back here again and I suggest you don’t either. Ps, she didn’t even have her mask covering her nose and mouth.
