Disappointing service. Prescription sent ahead of time, still not on their system. Overpriced compared to other pharmacy.
Originally went from another pharmacy at Lordship lane whom I had awful experience with. Came to Vale not only did I have to write my details on a piece of paper instead of yelling out personal information but the wait time was only 10 minutes when there were 3 customers ahead of me. Excellent service, thinking of nominating myself here from now on. Well done
Delighted that my companion on visit to nearby health centre found me this excellent pharmacy open till 6pm on a Saturday which enabled me to begin my treatment straight away. Pleasant and smooth service for prescription and also small cash purchase to assist my recovery.
I rudely got told that they have a glucose sensor which I desperately needed. I cycled all the way there (30 minutes) just to be told with no apology that she didnt actually have a sensor after paying for a lime bike and getting low blood sugar as a result. Currently stuck in a worse situation than I was in. Just such rude and unhelpful staff. AVOID THIS PHARMACY!!
Took too long - I got there at 9 to pick up a prescription and they weren’t even open. When the cashier did open up she said to come back in 10 minutes which I did. They then took a further 15 minutes with no real sense of urgency to get my prescription together so what could have taken 5 minutes took 25 minutes out of my day. I wouldn’t normally mind but I needed to get to work and there wasn’t even an apology for how long they took. So frustrating and definitely will not be going back to this pharmacy.
I was told I had to wait over a week for my prescription to be ready but when I went to collect my catheters the pharmacist told me he had cancelled my prescription & I was not told why so I will not be going back there for future drugs
Been with this chemist for years, very lovely staff, kind and considerate and helpful
Staff are rude and incompetent, same as all the pharmacy’s round here. Pharmacist need reminding that most of their customers are either in pain, have a condition or disorder. All we ask for is some politeness and basic customer service. But they seem incapable of that. I’d give it minus stars if I could.
A bit slow, but the two head pharmacists treat me very well and couldn’t be anymore polite. Gets very stuffy and airless in the summer and could go with a couple of clean chairs,but a very well stocked shop. Gets a bit frustrating when they can’t complete my prescription but this being said I will still rate them a 4 star.
The staff are lovely - extremely helpful. After ringing 8 places I could not find a pharmacy that had my contraception in stock and needed it that day as going away the next morning. I called at 1pm and they said they would see if they could do something to help. They did. Five minutes later I called back and they said they would have it by 5pm the same day. I will be using Vale Pharmacy from now on. Thank you!
