Awful, poor service. Every time it takes over a week to get repeat prescription. Always excuses - "no internet", "issues with supplyers" etc. Doesn't open on time. Service is appalling.
Over the past year I have needed various changes in medication. Josh and his colleagues have been extremely friendly helpful in getting new prescriptions speedily and at short notice and also in dealing with repeats. They have been good in notifying by text when prescriptions are available for collection. They have also offered good advice on non prescription treatments for minor ailments. I am pleased to recommend this pharmacy.
I have been going to Rowlands Pharmacy on and off for many years. But now, I would not use any other pharmacy. Joshua, the Pharmacy Manager, is brilliant with me and always tries to accommodate urgent prescriptions. Always with a smile. All the staff are so helpful and friendly it has such a great vibe. I've been picking up prescriptions here for the last few weeks and the current staff are so amazingly helpful. They are very polite and have repeatedly gone above and beyond to help us with short-notice emergency prescriptions. Thank you all!
ZERO STARS! I waited for this chemist to open at 0900. Shutters are closed, a female opens the shutter to tell me the pharmacist is running late and it'll be another 15mins so I waited outside. At 0915 the shutter partially opens which is when I notice a piece of paper stuck on the door that says pharmacist will not be in until 0930 (she clearly couldn't face telling me to wait another 15mins). So then I waited until 0925 for the pharmacist to show his face. Apparently this is a regular occurrence with this place. I'm then told the antibiotics won't be delivered until the afternoon at some point. I'd already been waiting since noon the day before! This is the worst chemist I've been to and I won't be visiting again and it's not the first time we've had issues with this place. They don't know how to run the place. Like others have already said, don't bother getting your prescriptions here unless you're happy to wait for a long time.

Extremely polite and helpful. Took time to discuss my wife's prescription and to ensure everything was OK. The service was exceptional
This place do not keep any buffer stock of any medication. Hence this is not the pharmacy for anyone who needs their medicine soon. It's ok for people who are prepared to wait considerable time to collect their medication...
Arrived before 5.30pm and they would not serve me. I understand it was just before closing but I was still there during the published opening hours. Needed a prescription filled before a trip. Fortunately for me I am not vulnerable or in danger. Extremely poor service. Will never return.
Because this chemist is my local one. I do sometimes go to this chemist. My main reason for me going to it was for a flu jab. I found the staff to be very professional and helpful, because I wasn't sure if I needed an appointment. They were able to accommodate me strange away.
