When you arrive it's obviously shut down and has been for months, yet these smooth brains haven't marked it as such. Very annoying.

Called in the morning, because I received no notification of a parcel being delivered. No one answered. It should have arrived two weeks ago but it was the Easter bank holiday weekend, so thought maybe it was delayed. (I know this isn’t the pharmacy’s fault). But it has inconvenient opening hours to travel without confirmation. Decided to come today anyway during work, to see that they were closed between 2 and 3, so wasted my time travelling here. Also needed a bandage which I ended up going Superdrug for.

Worth noting the improvements since the new team of pharmacists have started in the last 6 months or so. Its a relief to have a much better customer service experience than before.

I’ve come here to collect a few prescriptions - I’ve always found a short queue, and they message to say when the prescription is ready. Last week I dropped in to collect a parcel and asked if they had my prescription - they didn’t, but were happy to make it up if I could wait 5 minutes.

Pharmacists are fine, not very communicative, but several disturbingly bad experiences with the current manager have had a damaging effect on my healthcare. Have also observed him treat different ethnicities differently in 2020. Lacks the requite - discretion when discussing private health matters and - empathy, looking at others point of view, generally wanting to help others ... not here. Is like a comedy character in Jane Austen or Charles Dickens for seeming to be fundamentally not the right personality for the central sensitive role in the community he inhabits. A decent pharmacy is such a life saver when GPs services / NHS are in such a shambles but this is not that. Boots head office should step in IMO. Shop is very tiny but boots good for click & collect. (But Go to superdrug for makeup as they've been 3/4 empty here for years!)

Utterly woeful. I've had an appalling experience collecting my last 3 prescriptions. Have wanted to give them the benefit of doubt given the pandemic, but there is no excuse for the sheer ineptness. They tell you off for arriving to collect a prescription if you haven't been texted, but if you wait for the text, you could be waiting until 2025! They then tell you a bare-faced lie when you give up waiting for the text (which they never sent in the first place), claiming that they did text you but of course they can't confirm when (date/time) the text was sent... And you then have to deal with the appalling customer service because it's not their fault their systems are not 'advanced'. I'll be asking my gp to stop forwarding my prescriptions here.

If I could give zero stars, they would get it. Absolutely ridiculous wait times and communication. Waited 45min couldn't get my prescription anyway. 10 people queue and many shared my frustration. 2 people behind the counter and can't cope. Was told the gp needs to call them and I can hear the phone going but they don't pick up even after telling them that it's most probably the gp they needed yo speak to. Never visiting again. Avoid.

I arrived at this pharmacy at 17:25 to purchase a prescription I was prescribed by a doctor, the door was locked even though the door clearly says the pharmacy closes at 17:30 the bald man that was there did not open the door he made me wait outside for 5 minutes till it reached 17:30 and then showed me the time on his watch saying it’s 17:30 and he can not let me in as if I was not standing outside for 5 minutes knocking on the door. Absolute scam of a pharmacy. Boots should genuinely look into the people whom they are employing. What a joke.

The worst pharmacy I've ever experienced! Staff members look like they have no clue what they're doing. Took over a week to deal with my prescription, was told to collect it 10mins before store was closing on Saturday then went to collect it on Monday and still had to wait 30mins in the store so the pharmacist can check the medication?.... Save the headache and go somewhere else.
