   I'm on immunosuppressing medications for my chronic health condition. I've woken up unwell and needed urgent advice and whether I could continue taking my medication. I was referred to this pharmacy by 111 and had the unfortunate experience of having to speak with a so called pharmacist. When asking for advice he completely ignored my question and said if I have a cold paracetamol and fruit which I said I'm asking about whether I can take my medication not advice on cold treatment. He interjected saying "surveys have shown zinc and vitamin c boost your immune system and help with colds". I said firstly if I'm actively on immunosupressant medications how is taking vitamin c and zinc going to change anything. I then went back to my question can I take my medication? He said well the medication sounds important so you should take it. I had to ask if he really was a pharmacist as your advising me on fruit when I'm here asking about my medication. I said to him don't worry I'm gonna seek advice somewhere else. To which he said yes cause your case is complex so we can't really give advice. Shocked I said if you know your not in a position to offer advice why was you trying to offer me advice a second ago. As a whole it sounds like this man was blagging it and I felt I was getting advice from a 19th century herbalist.

   One of the oldest pharmacy in the area. Very helpful and supportive for the local community. I used to collect my medication through them when i was around the Bow area back in the days. Well organised and excellent customer service. To me pharmacist are 1st Dr in the community and the advice is really helpful and time consuming.
