I wrote my name / date of birth/ nhs number and handed it to the staff member. Then waited for 45 minutes while they served everybody else that came after me. After 45minutes i asked where my meds where. They requested my info again. You looked me in the eye every 5 minute of that 45 minutes, you purposefully ignored me while sitting there. Same guy asked my name three times in a row for in a 30 second time period like it is not from this earth. Terrible pharmacy with Inept staff.

My local pharmacy and been here to visit during both weekdays and weekends. Have experienced good service every time I went. Staff are professional and helpful with prescriptions and recommendations for other OTC medicines/products. Inside is quite small so sometimes it gets slightly cramped if more than 5 people are in the queue but I didn't find waiting times to be that long.

Avoid Medichem Pharmacy – Completely Unprofessional and Incompetent After years of poor service, I’ve had enough. Medichem Pharmacy has repeatedly shown they are incapable of providing even basic care. I went to collect my son’s prescription and, once again, was told it hadn’t been issued. I called the GP myself — it was issued last month. This isn’t a one-time mistake. It’s a regular pattern. The staff are unhelpful, uninterested, and spend more time gossiping than doing their jobs. Customers are left waiting, confused, and often sent away due to errors that are clearly on Medichem’s end. The lack of urgency and accountability is shocking. To make matters worse, they charge extortionate prices for basic medications. They are not supporting the community — they are failing it. This place is a disgrace. Don’t waste your time or put your health at risk. Go elsewhere. Absolute clown show!

I didn’t have such a bad experience as other costumers but I definitely can see how lazy and unfriendly the staff are. If I hadn’t asked them to get my medicines, I probably never would been attended. On top of that, they don’t like credit cards and there’s minimum of 5 pounds to use them.

Very lazy people, rude, for no reason they will tell you that your prescription not on our records tells you to go to your gp and talk to them as soon as you talk to them or make they call the pharmacy then then they will say they have it. Extra hassle with them. Will never come back here changed to a new one

This is my local chemist and I use it regularly. They have a great selection of products to purchase (toiletries, first aid stuff, vitamins etc etc) as well as providing advice and dispensing prescriptions. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The main pharmacist is always willing to help and forever energetic even at the end of the day she never looses her smile. Keep it up I highly recommend this pharmacy/Chemist.

Went to get my medication from here. Staff were really friendly, and talkative. The wait for my meds was very short despite the pharmacy being busy. I am seeing all these reviews about the staff being rude and slow but I cannot express enough, that none of the staff are like this, not from my experience anyway. Perhaps, these people are mistaking Medichem for another shop??
