Went for a family swim with the kids the changing area is discussing, smell like old urine on the floor of the changing areas, hair and staining on changing room doors/walls, don't think the walls have ever been cleaned. On the way out needed to clean hands as we was going to eat after but no sanitiser in any of the dispensers. Asked behind the desk, staff kindle gave me some. I explained the state of the locker rooms and also mentioned witnessing kids spitting on the walls by the showers.
Lucky to get a star deffinetly canceling my member ship the gym equipment is terrible only good for cardio even then out dated equipment u cnt complete a full chest work out cos lack of benches and weight 2 machines for back n 1 for shoulders silliest times for swim n sauna n ye lucky to get in or the steam room get switched of by staff there is woman only swimming time but not male wich I feel is prejudice against men Friday afternoons 8 to 9 if u want to swim n sauna as a man. there absolutely chocker an litrely sat in on Friday for 20 mins in the steam room n the staff decided to switch it of 35 mins before it's ment to not verry fair if u ask me states on the site diffrent I recommend villain gyms kirby Halewood or Maghull meadows great gyms staff n sauna /steamrooms
The staff are lovely,friendly and always happy to help and give advice. Sometimes I am disappointed with the lack of cleanliness in the changing cubicles,strong smell of urine and dirty floors,but generally a great place to use the gym and the pool
Dreadful and confusing layout. Oldest equipment I’ve seen in years. No cable machines. Terrible layout if literally everything you can imagine using . Stupid closing times for the steam room & saunas. It has a pool. No other reason to come here. Horrible horrible place
Been coming for a couple of months most days and I love it. Its a bit run down but it's got a great community spirit. All the staff are great and most of the regular swimmer's are lovely and considerate. Unlike everton Park which is like being at school again with a bunch of bullies. Great steam and sauna although both get busy at certain times of the day.
Staff are always happy to help atmosphere is always positive it’s a fantastic experience every time I go there
Lockers are far from ideal you have to pay 20p like the stone age which is basically the rest of the facilities. Nothing spent in it for a decade. Machines are no better with most of them not working or falling to bits. Worst gym I've gone to so far in Liverpool. Council ran so shouldn't really expect anything else tbf.
just been once. the place is ok, your typical well-run community leisure centre, the sauna a bit small and a guy was shaving inside but in return the steam room is very hot which i liked seemed even hotter than the sauna
Not too bad because of the classes, that are really good. The pool changing room area is disgusting. Should be cleaned more throughoutly as it stinks... also the changing rooms are sticky and smelly.
