Last week I attended the pharmacy with a cut from a sharp knife across my finger. I asked for steri-strips and for some help to put them on. The assistant checked with the three pharmacists, she returned to tell me that no one would help. She did offer to help, but claimed there was too much blood to apply steri-strips and said I needed to go to A&E instead, which I did. When I was seen at the hospital, they were surprised that no one had helped me. As we're trying to improve the healthcare in this country, the attitude of the pharmacists is disappointing. I've given one star for the kind assistant that helped me, otherwise I would have given no stars.

I chose Paydens for my Covid vaccine, booked via NHS website. My GP practice administers the Pfizer one but 2 pharmacies I’ve used in Sevenoaks have only ever given me the Moderna one which makes me feel unwell. Thought I’d see if I got Pfizer here and I did. Very pleased. No reaction to it. The pharmacist, though busy, was very pleasant and personable. I hadn’t no pain either when given the injection. I hadn’t been in before but noticed it was very well stocked. Clarins and Ester Lauder counters. La Roche posey. I prefer more natural products with a good Yuka app toxicity score and the pharmacy sold MooGoo products. Very impressed. I’m sure I be back to buy those products. Staff were doing all they could to manage an influx of people waiting for the vaccine. They have a little waiting area. We had all booked appointments.

Best avoided if you need some something from the pharmacy. I wanted to get some eye ointment which we have used many times before. Pharmacist asked if it was for a stye, I said maybe, she said that she couldn’t sell it to me in that case, I said I didn’t know really if it was stye. I said we have used before and that I was happy to take full responsibility for using it (you don’t need a prescription), in fact I went to Boots and got it with no problem. Paydens were unhelpful and rather high handed in the way they deal with a customer. First impressions count, so will not be using in the future.

When getting travel vaccinations make sure to do all the research beforehand and refrain from asking any questions about it's effectiveness or duration to the staff. I made this mistake and got charged a £10 consultation fee.

A lovely shop, completely let down by an off hand member of staff, more interested in telling her colleague what she was having for supper that night, than helping answer a customer enquiry as regards pricing. Particularly uninterested in making sure customers feel appreciated which is weird really when her job depends on keeping customers happy...

Credit where its due. I've just had the most stressful 2 hours calling my local surgery, Pharmacy2U and multiple pharmacies trying to find out what's happened to my prescriptions from beginning of the month. I suffer I medical condition that could leave me in hospital in not under control and after finally speaking to Cody, she really tried her best to help despite still not knowing why my prescription is urgent. Thank you

Awful service for a pharmacy. Impossible to get them on the phone. The phone rings for 2 minutes and then automatically hangs up. When you ring again immediately the line is engaged. I have been calling them about an important prescription that I am waiting for and I have called 30 times already today

Best local pharmacy - dispensing team give brilliant service, are knowledgeable, go the extra mile for their customers. Prompt professional and friendly service, always smile and are polite no matter how busy they are. The make up counter staff also give excellent personal service, and they sell perfumes that you cannot get elsewhere locally. Department stores in Tunbridge Wells and even in London didn't have a fragrance that I searched for, yet Paydens did! (Hoopers, Harvey Nichols didn't have it) I'd recommend Paydens to everyone!!

I am expecting delivery of inhalers have been told that it is not out for delivery. Dosset box clients take precedence over other deliveries e en though I was assured that mine would be out this morning. What a laugh.
