I’ve always had a great experience with Soka Pharmacy. The pharmacist recently identified that my child had signs of the shingles virus and made a timely referral to our GP, which was incredibly helpful and reassuring. They are always informative, professional, and supportive. I’ve also used their Pharmacy First service before for my child’s ear infection, and again the pharmacist was excellent β€” very clear with the information provided and supplied the appropriate medicine promptly. Highly recommend this pharmacy for their knowledgeable and caring service.

Id give no stars if that was an option. The chemist verbally abused me and chased me with scissors so that I had to leave the store as I felt endangered based on the fact that i tried to correct him as he tried to tell me i couldnt get an asthma pump because it wasnt my registered chemist. Hes a bully

Awful service. Half filled prescriptions Substitutes cheap medicines without checking with gp. Needs to be shut down

Poorly stocked, and met with a rude/surly attitude when asking advice. Very dark, dusty and smelly- lots of trip hazards around too (blue medication delivery boxes left dotted around the shop floor.) There's a lot of investment in the area because of Erith Quarry....this chemist is disgusting, and needs to shape up. Do yourselves a favour, go to ANY other chemist!!

I was sent to this pharmacy by NHS 111 to receive advice and a consultation. Unfortunately, the pharmacist was unable to do either and sent me to Erith Hospital instead. Its not like the pharmacy had any customers queuing up. If you speak to the pharmacist for advice, I hope you get better luck than me!

I attended the pharmacy for advice. The pharmacist (Andrew) was very attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. He gave both lifestyle changes advice and made some pharmacological recommendations which were very effective. My symptoms improved and I feel so grateful for the support received from the pharmacy.

Shockingly bad service my the male chemist each time I’ve used this pharmacy. I have just asked my doctors to stop using these for my prescriptions after being told they won’t do my repeat prescription because I haven’t had it for a while. Even though there is no timescale as to when I can order them. Last time I used them they tried to give me the wrong prescription and when I refused it the pharmacy moaned at me saying I just cost him his commission.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED I have been here many times and usually the service has been quick and friendly. However, I have now received the 3rd Penalty charge notice from 3 occasions at this chemist. The first 2 were because I was in college and the pharmacist kept telling me to tick a certain box which allows me to get free prescriptions. I asked many times if this was correct and was told yes. A few months down the line I receive 2 separate fines for Β£50 pound each. The 3rd fine was because I went to pick up my prescription and the pharmacist hadn't yet arrived. Upon arriving I spoke to another girl there who told me she'd already been waiting for him to turn up. She had been waiting for 1 hour and a half. After another 45/60 mins he showed up. All the time we were waiting it was raining and we wasn't allowed to wait in the shop as the pharmacist wasn't there. When he arrived he told us the card machine wasn't working and gave us our prescriptions. I offered to go to the cash point there and then so it was paid. He then replied with 'No, come back when you can'. I work a full time 5 day a week job so its very hard for me to pop back as when I can it is usually closed. I then receive a fine through the day a month or two later. So I go round there to sort it and he said he will phone them and sort it, he took my letter. I then go back there a few days later and he starts telling me I said I'd come back Monday. Even though I said I might and I came back Tuesday. It is hard for me to get there some days as of the trains from work etc... Telling me I've been very dishonest, he was very rude to me in front of my mother and my neighbour as well. This consisted of telling me I was being dishonest and laughing in my face. He said he'd sorted the fine and I had to send them a cheque by post (which is unheard of these days). I rang the NHS fine service up today. A lady told me that they wouldn't ask for cheques as they don't take them and also that there was no record of him calling on my reference number. I also asked him to write a letter and let me pay the Β£8.80 and he did not do this, he said he would ring the NHS himself and this has led to more grief. I've now had to pay for this fine and I am appalled. I am fuming and disgusted by this service, which has now led to me paying 3 fines of Β£52.80. I work alongside the NHS and I would never rip them off. Just writing this as a warning to others.
