A truly amazing place and Mike is brilliant! My golden retriever was nervous of the water and never swam before. After great encouragement and advice from Mike, he was off! Didn’t want to leave in the end. Can’t wait for the next session. Thoroughly recommend!
A great place to take your dog(s). My spaniel absolutely loves his sessions and I know, due to Mikes knowledge and experience he’s totally safe. It’s great exercise now he’s getting a bit older and tires him out for the rest of the day. Would definitely recommend Doggy Paddle 100%.
Pippa absolutely LOVES coming to Doggy Paddle. As soon as she realises where she is, she is eager to get out of the car. Being a lab, swimming is one of her favourite activities but it’s nice being able to take her to a safe, secure and warm pool, especially during winter! She isn’t too sure with males sometimes but Mike makes sure she’s always comfortable around him and she now she even asks for attention from him when she has a breather. I recommend to anyone who wants to take their dog for a fun activity!
Sully went for his first swimming lesson and it was amazing! The setup is great and both us and Sully were made to feel extremely comfortable. Sully absolutely loved his swim and we were so proud. They gave him so much encouragement but it was clear his safety was of the utmost importance. Would 100% recommend and we will absolutely be booking another swim soon.
Great experience with a very knowledgeable handler, the boys loved it and we will be back again.
Beyond my expectations! We had an introductory swim on Wednesday as I’m hoping to build my dogs confidence with water and I know swimming is great exercise for dogs. My 11 month old pup isn’t great with water she hates baths and walking in the rain but Stuart put her (and me) at ease completely. I was nervous about her just hating it but she got into it and even pushed herself off the platform to swim after a ball! I’ve already booked for a block of 3 swimming lessons because I’m so impressed with the experience we had. Thanks so much Stuart and Doggy Paddle we can’t wait to come back!
Our 6 month puppy Rosie has been twice now, and it's really growing her confidence every-time she goes which is lovely to see. For a pup who doesn't like going out in the rain, she was jumping in without a life jacket and swimming around at the end of her 2nd session. Lucy is so lovely and so patient with her not forcing Rosie to do anything she didn't want to and making it all a very positive experience for her. So much fun I would highly recommend!!!
Me and my pooch love this place. It has been the perfect place for her to learn to swim in safety and build her confidence. She has gone from, nope not going in there to, throw the ball again, let me get back in. Super friendly, helpful staff. Lucky to have somewhere like this so close to home.
