    Popped in here today on our way home from Go Ape. We were welcomed by a friendly local who told us where to sit for food. The staff didn't take long to locate us a table for 5 and we were seated within minutes. We placed our order and food started coming out within a reasonable time. Unfortunately there is no kids menu but there is half portions available on some of the main menu. Or as the server said, just ask and they will do chicken nuggets or fish fingers, no problem. All of the food that we had was really good and we had lots of clean plates. We will defo be back when we are back around this area.

    Went on a Thursday with a group. There's 4starters and 4mains to choose from and puddings available. Big portions well cooked. Simple pub grub and worth the price. Great service - friendly and attentive. Beers and wines available at the bar. Nice atmosphere and it was busy so best to book.

    Popped in for Sunday Dinner after a walk around Figgate Park with our dog. Dogs welcome in their own area & had a two course / three course dinner each. The Sunday Beef Roast was really tasty & reasonably priced.

    Lovely food but need to sort out children's menu. Half portions of adult food doesn't work. Especially when they send it out with salad!

    Had Christmas Dinner here as a works night out and the food and the service were excellent. They brought the big screen down just so we could watch the football and poured coffee even though they already cleaned the coffee machine. Couldn't have asked for more.

    Staff friendly, had the monday pensioners two courses. Starter was lovely. Main had to be returned as just tepid and hubbies not correct item. Hubbies came back correct mine took ages. Wrong order not kitchen fault but staff member taking order. Meat tasty but some very chuck. Over portion sizes were great
