Abusive staff, don’t go. I was let out from the security person to get some fresh air in the smoking area (it was boiling inside) - and as soon as i went out I was asked by the security person outside to go back in, so I told them I needed some fresh air. They told me I could choose to either go back in or leave the place - I tried to say that that was unreasonable, and they physically forced me outside. Long story short after talking for a while with another security person they said I was visibly sober and calm and they agreed there was no reason to force me out but they trusted their colleague. I spent £10 to be kicked out of a place because I asked to breathe some fresh air. My friends and I stayed in 15 min max and had to leave - we should all be refunded. I tried to speak to the manager but the guy is clearly an abusive aggressive person, I didn't even manage to speak a word and was aggressively shut down... Guys what is this.. Needing to breathe fresh air shouldn't be that complicated.

This is quite literally hell on earth. The drink prices are a joke adding assault to injury with those serving them. Staff are just so strange - the managers seem to get drunk the whole time and pick their favourites out of the girls (I think they enjoy the club more than anyone else) and then the security are on a perverted power trip!! I don’t know what anyone’s on about “great atmosphere” it’s full of a sleazy rowdy crowd mixed with shit music. Not to forget the death trap of stairs, with half the step coming off I witnessed at least 15 people fall down them. I’m surprised this place is still running with much better options around - avoid at all costs.

I had one of the most upsetting nights here and genuinely would not recommend this place to anyone especially women!!! Don't go. At the entrance, the bouncers were taking full photos of everyone’s IDs on their own phones before letting people in. No professional scanners either. It felt so unsafe and wrong, but they said we wouldn’t be allowed in otherwise. When I left later, I was alone waiting for my Uber a short distance from the venue. Out of nowhere, a bouncer came up to me aggressively, telling me to move when I wasn’t doing anything. When I said my car was two minutes away, he made racist comments like ‘Where are you from?’ and ‘You don’t belong here,’ which left me furious. As a woman standing alone at 2am, being spoken to like that by someone meant to be responsible for safety was terrifying. After reading other reviews, it’s clear this isn’t an isolated incident. Please be careful if you go here!! I wish I hadn’t!

They must be giving out free drinks or paying people for 5* reviews here. All the one star reviews are the EXACT experience I had there last week. To summarize: -Rude bar staff -Dangerous bouncers that think they own public areas -Hot, cramped, creepy -Boring bad DJ, didn't feel like dancing once -Ridiculously expensive, both entry and drinks Why does every good review mention the manager? It's so weird, nowhere else is like this on reviews. Suspicious. Stay away.

Great place, Notting hill institution! Anyone in the area must at least pop in. I left my bag in the cloakroom and had to come back next day. Guy in charge called Eddy was super polite friendly and even opened up an hour early to help me out. Bouncers we’re also super friendly and helpful. Honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had in a london club.

Really fun inside but the bouncers have serious issues. They followed me and my friends up the street for about 4 yards to tell us to stop talking while we were waiting for an Uber. All of us were sober and speaking quietly, he then continued to harass us after we'd turned the corner and made it clear that we'd left the area. Don't go to this club unless you like being squashed in like a sardines and waiting for 40 mins for a cigarette only to be told off and threatened to be kicked out because you're chatting to your friends

I am very disappointed with my experience tonight. I got ushered away by the very rude and unaccommodating bouncer, who escorted me out of the street for no reason. Please do not act like you own talbot road, and that you have the right to escort me down a public street. So to usher me out of the road is entirely inappropriate and very disheartening. I will not be returning to this club.

absolutely awful, couple of my friends have got spiked in the globe, security does nothing, kicked us out of the club onto the street, we asked for water a few times and they said no whilst my friend is uncontrollably throwing up. To any girls do not go there please.

Been here a couple of times. Nice place, nice people and friendly door staff as well as bar staff. Can be a bit 'intimate' as the space isn't too big, but for me, that's a plus. Lots of French and Belgian clientele, not sure why but that's always a plus (might be biased because I speak the language ;) The owner is always around too very friendly guy. I would just advise people to come prepared with ID and also some change as you will need to leave your jackets etc in the cloakroom.
