Initially I was planning to give this place 4 stars as it is not the kind of entertainment that I enjoy tremendously; however, if I consider what others may like who search for windmill soho nightclub, I decide to give it 5 stars. The performers were clearly very talented. The performances were excellent and entertaining. I was impressed especially by the hoop and pole performers. Food was fairly good. And the service was efficiently and friendly. If you’re living in London and like burlesque, I would give this experience a go!

My friends and I visited for a Saturday night performance on the platinum menu. We had an amazing time. The service cannot be faulted, the staff were so attentive and every member of staff we came into contact with was professional and welcoming. The food was very enjoyable too and filling. The performances were outstanding from a singer performing upside down, fire shows and acrobatics. The venue was unique and intimate. We will be back as it was great value for money

HONEST REVIEW - SPENT £340 FOR TWO! - ARRIVAL- Upon arrival was greeted by nonchalant security as well as non-bothered/non-attentive hostess who couldn’t even smile and greet us when we arrived. She was busy sorting something out on a WhatsApp group chat - Usually, I don’t care but considering that this is supposed to be an immersive show dinner experience I’d expect the first “impression” to be on job. [1/5] - SEATS - We booked the platinum seats and were seated right next to the stage which was great. Would recommend getting these. The chairs were uncomfortable but I guess it’s because they need light chairs because the restaurant transforms into a nightclub on the weekend. For the price I’d expect better quality. - SHOWS - The artists were really great but in my opinion too little shows within the time frame. INCA (similar restaurant concept in Soho) have a show every 15 minutes and they are longer than the ones at The Windmill and a bit more engaging. - SERVICE - The service was friendly BUT we were rushed from one dish to another. A second bottle of Sparkling water was added to our table and bill which we didn’t ask for. I’d like to be in charge of what I want to order - not the other way around. Bill was dashed onto our table without asking and in general everything seemed rushed. - FOOD - Mediocre food, it was okay but not amazing for this price point. Also way too dark in there, people were using torches to eat. - VALUE FOR MONEY- They add a charge for the Show of £20 as well as 15% service charge. I was a bit surprised as it wasn’t really stated anywhere clearly on the website?! I doubt that I’ll go again - it was nice to experience something “different” but all in one wasn’t worth the money. Thanks!

OK I will try to give The Windmill a fair review ... there were some positives ... but sadly overall it was a very poor experience. I had made a booking for a platinum dining experience reservation and the table was in a prime spot (but we'll come back to that later). No queuing at all as we had made a reservation ... we were shown to the bar as the table wasn't ready (no problem) and we order a couple of very nice cocktails ... expensive yes ... but I wouldn't expect anything else (all I'd say is be prepared) After about 20 mins we were shown to our table and it was just down from the stage so we though we were in for a brilliant show. Now to the show ... well 5 mins of acts (or so) with a 15 mins break in between each act is what you'll get ... do not expect 'The Windmill' to compare with some other venues in London offering similar theatrical dining. The apéritifs came and were stunning ... top notch cuisine ... The starters came quickly and were equally stunning ... very nice. The same cannot be said for the main course ... we waited and waited and watched people who has sat down after us get the main course. The show continued and our table was asked to be moved backwards due to one very talented act performing on the main floor of the theatre ... no problem (despite not yet having our main course). I was also told I would have to stand for this section of the show (which seemed very strange) The host, who can only be described a foul mouthed drag queen who's every other word was 'mother-f.....' assisted with 'moving' the table then knocked over my wife's full glass of wine. Whilst appearing to be slightly apologetic nothing else was done by either the staff or management. My wife then had to sit in a wine soaked skirt for the rest of the evening and also has a dry cleaning bill for her new corset bought for the occasion. There was no offer to replace the glass of wine and no offer of assistance. Eventually the main course of breaded chicken arrived however they had forgotten the side vegetable dish we had ordered. The breaded chicken was dry and overcooked (and like others have said very sub standard) and after reminding them of the broccoli side dish, that eventually arrived and somehow managed to be raw and burnt at the same time. The BANG London crew were in venue and it seemed that the host was only concerned about impressing them. All the table and bar staff were fantastic. We won't be returning and I couldn't possibly recommend going here ... save your money for somewhere that deserves it more. The Windmill is purely trading on it's history and name.

I had a 3 course dinner here and a show.. I absolutely loved the show.. my face in d video proofs it, the only downer was we were not allowed to record any of the shows so now it’s a memory stuck in my brain that I have to explain to friends by word of mouth but can’t show, i must however commend that even though it was an evening show and I was alone, I felt really safe and taken care of. I was harassed by a man and his friends at the restaurant and the manager or so noticed and after warning him off and he didn’t listen, they were kicked out. As a black girl having someone actually protect u.. I was supper impressed and would recommend visiting here any day to anyone

We booked 3-course dinner and early show on Friday night for just £29 per person. We really enjoyed the show, and the host was quite engaging. The food was okay considering the price.
