I went there to spend my birthday, only to have people question me the use of the words “sexual harassment”. My friends and I were dancing and one man asked a female friend to dance, to that, she said yes, but the he proceeded to lift her up and after that she stops dancing with him. The man leaves, and comes back later and was getting very close to her and to other female in the group. She kindly asked him to keep physical distance, and he doesn’t listen to her. He keeps coming back, one of my male friends ask him TWICE to step away, and by the third time my friend physically stops him because he kept harassing women. The man picks up a fight, get very aggressive accusing my friend of “touching him for no reason”, I called security and security takes him out only to LET him come back because he was a friend of the DJ. When we are about to leave, I was told to chat to a woman in the cloakroom, who at the beginning was listening but then proceeds to question me “if my female friend really said no, and that maybe I was confused because it’s a Latin club and everyone dances close to each other”. I kept calm and asked her why would she questioned me if my only goal was to protect the women who come here. She told me the word “sexual harassment” was too strong. What am I supposed to say when a man is touching you without your consent and pushing himself onto your body? Extremely disappointed, other men were also very disrespectful. Don’t have a club if you aren’t going to care for your costumers.

Great music and superb atmosphere besides being bullied at the toilet by the bathroom staff. Whilst waiting for my colleague to come out from the toilet I spotted chewing gum on the side that it was out, didn’t think too much about and I had it in my hand to ask what flavour would she like. The woman standing at the door jumped and said “it’s mine “ I said and I was asking what flavour she wants (obviously I wouldn’t have minded to pay £2) long story short she was calling me disrespectful and she calls the man from the male toilet so I found myself surrounded by them calling me idiot and racist without me even saying anything besides not recognising of being disrespectful. I could say the exact opposite! Threatening me that they will throw me out of the building!!!!! Good music but terrible experience, someone needs some education and patience there! People go to dance not to listen to staff insults!

Great atmosphere, two different vibes: Reggaeton with electro and mixes of merengue, salsa and more. A safe, friendly place to meet people or just have a great time

On the 10th of august at around 3:50am the security guard working at the front door didn’t get involved when a guy got physically aggressive to my female friend then when I told him about it, he said he didn’t care and said I would be banned if i bought it to his attention again. The music and other staff were nice

Club vibes were a little slow but as the night went on it got better and better. The DJs was sadly very mid had weird transitions and would kill the mood. Playing old songs that are just bad is probably one of the ways to end the fun. DJ kept playing radio friendly instead of club records that would keep the vibe going. Drinks were a little overpriced but the staff weren’t that bad for the most part.

This place shows you the two first levels of hell. In - 1, you will find a great atmosphere with casual sinners dancing salsa, merengue and Bachata. You will also find here the cloakroom. In - 2 you will hang out with The Devil, going "hasta abajo" at the rhythm of the reggaeton and being bumped by a very crowded dance floor. The security staff at the entrance are a bit impatient but this place is still 5/5. After going to La Pollera, you won't be the same.

Terrible place packed with creepy men harassing me and my friends. Music was appalling. I used to go to this place years ago and it was a great spot to go dancing, not anymore. We had a man following my friend everywhere and just watching us, scary. Staff at the bar are very unfriendly, mostly rude. I’d give it 1 star really….

DJ “el niño” must be the WORST latin DJ, he doesn’t know anything!! And abuses his use of that horn!!! He also accelerates the pace of the songs, making them unnatural. The worst DJ in the freaking world. Change the DJ and you will do better.

Very hard to get water. Funny place, something like a mix of overpriced Italian and Spanish clubs but in London. The music is great if you bike latin stuff and the atmosphere is nice and chill. It’s very hard to navigate, I couldn’t even find the cloakroom. Drinks are very expensive: £7 for a 300ml beer! And if you ask for water they send you on a wild goose chase. As a Brit, and indeed as a human being, I regard water as an essential especially in very hot sweaty clubs. First time I asked for water I was told “downstairs” when I was already on the lowest floor. One guy did actually serve small glasses of water if you hung around and asked several times. Multiple other times I was simply ignored when I asked for water and a beer, with the bar woman turning instead to one of the Spanish speaking clientele who had queued behind me. The last time I asked for water “hey, just a tap water please” I was told “say please”. I said it again and got the water. I’m not sure if the staff are in some way directed to be rude to English speakers or people who like to drink water (presumably everyone in the world), but the experience was bizarre and very unpleasant. The doormen and bathroom staff were great, it’s really just the incredibly rude bar staff and the lack of accommodation for water that is the problem. It’s 2022 and we are in the UK. Set up a couple of water jugs and put some glasses out so people can stay hydrated when they are dancing. For the love of god
