   Robertsons Garage have been absolutely fantastic to me this last year with my car. From fixing punctures, fixing door handles and MOT/ Service. They have always greeted me with a smile and patience when I have asked some stupid questions about my car. The service they offer is top tier and I feel safe and happy trusting them with my car knowing I’m getting a good deal and knowledge about my car. They have come to my saviour a few times at such short notice and I’m thankful. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for any car related issue.

   Easy peasy, fair price, lovely guys. Dropped the car for its MOT at the back of 9 and got a call at 11 saying it had failed on one thing with an exact quote of how much they'd charge to fix it. They called again at half 2 saying it was all done and ready whenever I was. When I picked it up they explained in more detail (including showing me photos of my ropey-looking suspension bushes), happily gave me a bit more detail on which ones they had and hadn't touched when I asked for it, and while I settled up they even span the car around for me to get me home quicker. Was a far cry from the 'ringing at 4:45pm to ask for an update' experience that I had with another highly-rated local garage for last year's MOT. Thanks lads – will be back.

   Genuinely cannot believe how lucky I have been to have found Ally at Robertson's Garage. I did not Ally at all but had heard him mentioned by friends, colleagues and in particular trades workers with cars AND vans. He came highly recommended afterI shared the problems I had with a particular garage on the south outskirts of Edinburgh; remaining nameless. The problem had a ten month history of coolant leakage from a Vauxhall Astra, the consequences of which resulted in multiple water pump and housing changes. The leaks continued to the point where the garage concluded that I should seal it and sell it since it was probably the head gasket that had warped from overheating. Dismayed that this would be the outcome I sought help. Once in the hands of Ally, very careful diagnostics were carried out to source the issue. The whole time, Ally explained what he was doing and why he was doing it. The net result was a £95 fix over a £1,200 fix. Talk about two extremes of care and diligence! The experience with Ally is also amiable to the point where he is giving you his time, after the bill is paid and after working hours, explaining many things about the engine and the coolant system within. And sharing details of his love for Italy! The guy is over 50 and looks about 30... there's something to learn from the guy's amiable but efficient approach to life and work. I'd give more than five stars if I could. Delighted.

   Uncommonly amazing level of support. Our family of 6 got stranded in Edinburgh w/ a vehicle issue -- Ally + Lawrence, despite being overbooked, dropped everything, collaborated w/ another set of professionals, and had us on the road back with only one day lost. This ranked in the top 3 of any customer experience we've ever had- irrespective of service. Their diagnosis work + solutions surpassed anything we'd experienced around UK for the previous 3 years, and as Americans, exceeded what we've come to expect from any given U.S. certified dealership service center- hands down.    Brilliant garage and Ally and Lawrence are top guys. Friendly, great service. They tell you exactly what needs done znd the price. No surprises. Work is done efficiently and on time. My previous garage had said to sell the car on. Robertsons gave me an option to fix the issue as I liked the car. It wasn't cheap as it was a major engine issue but they did a fantastic job. Now rather than have to buy another car I have my car back and its running great. Please use these guys. They are busy but it is worth the wait .
