A Polish friend recommended here, and it did not disappoint. We had goulash and a schnitzel, and both were the best we had ever tasted. This is Polish home cooking made to order, so do not expect it to be fast food!
The atmosphere was very welcoming and warm, lots of life and smiles. All staff were really nice. The coffee was fantastic, really well balanced flavour (with a wee free treat on the side!). The starter was fantastic and our mains (Ruskie dumplings) we're to die for, good enough to make any granny proud. Would definetly recommend to anyone ranging from someone wanting a proper coffee to someone missing their home cooking. (we didnt try anything off the polish menu) Also the only place ive seen selling apple mint Tymbark, which alone makes the place 6 stars if possible :)
Doris Coffee House is an absolute gem! From the moment I stepped inside, the atmosphere was simply delightful—warm, welcoming, and the perfect place to relax. And the food? Absolutely superb! First time back home in 10 years. Off the flight at 9.40am and straight to Spoons to sample their famous Scottish breakfast. Place was tidy, clean and staff friendly. Food was exceptional. Shame it was too early for a cake as the selection was mouthwatering, especially those strawberry tarts!. Would highly recommend. Great value for money.
Made the perfect coffee and my daughter (2 years old) ate all her food. Food was great and price matched if anything under priced for the service. Great place will be back again!
Went with friends for lunch. Everyone enjoyed what they had. The lentil soup is homemade and has bits of veg in it. Most places tend to blend soup now so this was more hearty on a miserable wet day. They have a large selection of cakes also.

Lovely place to eat. Very clean and fresh decor and staff are very friendly and helpful. Our breakfast was so good. The quality of the black pudding, sausage and bacon and toast was top class. They definitely use high quality ingredients and it certainly shows in the food served. We had brunch then bought several tray bakes, scones and cakes to take away. We will certainly visit again next time we are in Paisley.
I can only apologize for my lack of a photo of my panini - it looked so delicious I couldn't possibly wait and my boyfriend and I both wolfed our food down within minutes! Absolutely delicious and very affordable lunch in a cute cafe with great service. Sadly was too stuffed to try a traybake but I'll be back for those, too! Definitely worth a visit.
