We booked the Montrose for my son’s 1st birthday party and I cannot thank Sam and Trudy enough for everything on the lead up and then on the actual day too! Nothing was too much trouble for them and they offered so much help on the day too. It was such a fabulous day with all our family and friends and everyone else mentioned how great the venue was too! Thank you so much Sam and Trudy - so pleased I chose the Montrose and would definitely choose again! ❤️

Great place to relax after a hard day/weeks graft. Like "Cheers". Very friendly atmosphere. The 'sports bar' is lively on weekend with big screen & 2 other tv's showing footie, horse racing all sports. Some great tribute band nights as well. New management which is superb and the Montrose being run as it should. Give it a go.
Good local club which I always had reservations about asking to join as I heard it was members only & was not sure how stuffy it might be. Now a 3 year member, absolutely love the kids clubs & New Years Eve is always a blast! Family's need to join as this is a little treasure in our community & you can help us revive this gem, come in & see for yourself. It's about family & friends with lots of tribute bands & annual events not to be missed!
Great atmosphere. Lovely staff. Shame about the DJ. Absolutely chronic. Only seemed to play music he liked. Ruined our New Year's Eve. Won't be going back if he is still there!!!
Came here for a family birthday party and found the staff at the bar served quickly and had cheerful personalities. Good venue for a celebration or just to have a drink,very reasonable prices too. The hall area for hire is big enough for around 80-100 people and there is a nice spacious grassed area at the back. They have regular good entertainment here at weekends too.
