    Love this place but queuing in a line at the bar is ridiculous. You stand across a bar not in a long line which lead out the front door.

    Visiting from down south, the food was absolutely fantastic incredible. The burgers were absolutely one of the best I’ve had. My grandmother ate from the senior menu and the portion sizes are huge! Will definitely be back. Service was spot on too!

    We were there for lunch. The lunch menu is impressive in choice and price, there is also a smaller set menu. The food was very good and the portions were large. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and drinks. Also, this is not part of the Wetherspoons chain of pubs.

    Visited the Vulcan today. Great wee pub with very friendly staff and a great atmosphere. My better half ordered the chicken burger and I had the beef burger. Great quality and very tasty. Will visit again

    Waited nearly an hour for two plain burgers and a portion of chips. Finally came out and burgers were burnt and covered in mayo so sent them back, only to be given back the same burgers in a different bun with the mayo scraped off. Atrocious won’t be back.

    Place was quiet so no hassle getting a table. Food and drink ordered via website using a QR code. Only place nearby that serves Eggs Benedict, which was good although crumpet was a little over toasted. Not burnt enough to send back but enough to taste it sometimes. Table was clean, but felt sticky. Service was attentive and friendly
