    Friendly staff, and reasonably priced drinks, but the combination of a swam of flies buzzing overhead inside the bar, a dirty pint glass, and AI generated images plastered across the wall means I won’t be back.

    Named for Ernest? A traditional styled bar in downtown Hamilton with good views from its largish windows and boasting musical entertainment, but just not when I was there. The service was good, which is usually the case in such bars. I just found it a little boring, for instance there was live football at that time but not showing here. Definitely the most interesting thing here was the tree growing in the middle of the bar, real? I didn't ask.
