Great fun! Even when I didn’t like what was playing I could just admire the view and the sunset, have a comfortable and listenable chat with a friend or just laugh at everyone singing some chorus at the same time!
It started badly and just got worse. We arrived ready to board only to be held in a queue at the top of the pier. They were sending people down in groups, ok fine makes sense until you see the amount of people who chose not to queue making our time longer and longer. Zero marshaling or attention paid to prevent this. Once on board we discovered the significantly inflated drinks prices, nothing like a captive audience to take the mic out of. Then to the loos we go...3 ladies cubicles for 370 capacity boat. 1 of which was out of order. Music was mediocre to those of us with musical knowledge but also featured a considerable amount of songs using offensive rascial slurs. Then to the Health & Safety element of out night. Not everyone has sea legs so seasickness can occur resulting in the expulsion of bodily fluids. When highlighted to security and crew that this had taken place staff were disinterested. Only when it was sighted as a health safety issue did they eventually drag themselves to address the situion. Staff were surly, lazy, unhelpful, judgemental and dare I say lazy. All I can say is don't waste your money, nothing about this experience was good.
Great experience. We loved every minute of it. We go every year for the Christmas special. It is so much fun!
My friends and I attended the silent disco boat party on Saturday night and had THE best time. Such a great atmosphere and staff were friendly!! We created some unforgettable memories and hope to be back!!
