   I had my nails done here by the lovely owner. I regret not asking her name. I was lucky enough to secure an appointment the day before having my nails done. I am thrilled with the job she did. Its taken me a while to write a review when i was home but now i am back in Australia i am happy to post a review and say dont hesitate to have your nails done with her she does an excellent job. She also recommends a great cake shop, they were delicious thank you.

   I went today for a manicure, and I was appalled by the service. Susan didn’t know how to do a simple white French tip there were marks underneath the tip which I asked to kindly remove. She was fustrated that I was asking and suggested that I choose a different colour as that is how she will leave them. I was left with no choice but to ask for another colour but she refused to take off the pink base coat of the manicure. I asked if I could leave the mail bar and I would pay for shaping my nails. She tried to charge me £20 for a manicure and for the gel take off, even though this was her fault. Usually I don’t like to leave a negative review but her attitude and denial about the poor gel as well as trying to over change me has left me feeling disappointed and wasted my time today. Updated review as I noted that there were personal comments being made. Do not trust this lady because a client walked in asking about lashes. When they left she made a comment about their appearance and said she was glad that they didn’t purchase anything. Really shocked by this lady. She was aggressive and rude about my cuticles, she doesn’t have the right equipment and it seems like it was overused and in need of a replacement. She didn’t know what she was doing and her colours were backdated. The pictures and reviews speak volumes so I really hope people have a look before they try this lady. I have gone to another salon which is a lot better and they were able to match the pic no problem. It was a simple French manicure which she couldn’t do, the line was wonky and when I asked if she would be satisfied for the nails she ignored my question

   I've been visiting Glam for years now and have never left the salon unhappy! Susan is professional and is excellent at her job. My nails last weeks without fault and she always does her best to fit me in.

   Susan is the best nail technician I have been to. The salon is small and unassuming and currently hidden by roadworks on Leith Walk but in it you’ll find Susan a welcoming and friendly business owner. Her shellac on my finger lasts for up to three weeks (with regular oiling). I have had my nails done twice now and they were perfect. A good selection of colours, clean and organised space and a lovely chat with Susan to boot. Very highly recommend Susan.

   Since moving to Edinburgh back in July, I've visited Glam Nail Bar every 3-4 weeks for nail treatments plus I have eyelash treatments every 6-8 weeks. On every visit I'm greeted with a friendly welcome in a very clean salon and for the duration of the appointment have lovely, relaxing conversation. As an extremely fussy individual, I'm always pleased with my treatments - that's why I keep returning! Highly recommended booking here.
