Just about the most helpful garage there is. I was stranded with a puncture and one of the mechanics stopped to help me. After a few teething problems he had me back on the road in no time. Thanks guys.
Did a great job on my mum's clutch and then replacing a broken spring. Very quick and very thorough. Impressive service.
Took my car in on 07/01/25 with a clutch issue, which was misdiagnosed as a faulty master cylinder. After replacing it, they told me the issue was fixed—only to call me back later saying it had actually gotten worse and the clutch also needed replaced. The car wasn’t ready until 23/01/25. After collecting it, I discovered a new problem: when locking the car, the alarm would go off and indicate a door was open when it wasn’t. Returned on 31/01/25 to have this checked. GTM then passed my car to an external electrician (Robert at SF Autos) without informing me. I only found out after Robert contacted me directly. He was initially responsive but then ignored several follow-up messages over nearly a month. Eventually, he told me to contact GTM, as they were responsible for the original work. When I spoke to Greg at GTM, he said no one at the garage was electrically trained and didn’t believe the fault was related to their repairs. I explained the issue began after the clutch and master cylinder work, and that I’d returned the car to them to investigate. Greg said he would speak to Robert and get back to me—but once again, I never received any follow-up or communication. Communication throughout was poor. I constantly had to chase for updates, calls often went unanswered, and when I visited the garage, staff were disorganised and couldn’t even locate my car. Overall, extremely frustrating and unprofessional service. I would not recommend this garage.
Absolutely excellent experience of MOT, service and new shock absorbers at GTM today. It's a friendly, knowledgeable, hardworking team that goes the extra mile to keep my car on the road at sensible prices. I've been going here for years and the quality of work can be trusted. I have been using GTM for a few years and I have never had an issue. I was impressed many times by their honesty. Most recently they changed the break pads and discs of my car with a really good set and did it within an affordable price. One time they apologised for a charge that was not mine and they noticed it before o dod and sorted it. That's honesty. They are professional and courteous and very helpful. I highly recommend them.
used this garage several times recommended by my my parents and i wasn’t disappointed. A fault with my aircon which other garages had failed to fix was sorted, rectified also, not to mention at a very competitive price.

Great garage. On holiday nearby and a coil spring snapped on my car's suspension , potential nightmare ! But no , one call to GTM , and Craig assured me it could be sorted, and sure enough , the repair was completed within 4 hours , and , at a very competitive price ! Nice people to deal with , makes a refreshing change . Highly recommended.

Brilliant service, would recommend this garage to anybody. They have done a few jobs for me now and the work is always of high standard and at a very fair price. In one instance Arnold Clark quoted £180 for a job and they did the same job, and extra work, for a £100 less.
