Specialists? Chancers would be a better name. Had an issue with 1 brake not functioning properly and they offered to change all brake pads, callipers and discs.. (to see if that will work). lol All of the above had only recently been replaced aswell. Avoid, and go to a proper garage.
Booked my Audi Q5 in for service. Delighted with the quality of work - full explanation of work provided by Davy. They really know their stuff. One thing I didn’t expect was wash & valet at no extra cost….it was cleaner than the day it arrived new! Great place & very happy to recommend
ut my car in for a service and MOT. Told £205 + VAT for oil change service by email, assumed MOT would be £54.85 max given the maximum price for an MOT of a car is this per the governments website. So total would expect to be roughly £300.85. Call to pay and I was told something around £355 as the guys had added on a pollen filter change for god knows what reason as this was never asked for as it had it last year. If I hadn’t questioned the price it would have just been added. These guys also seem to charge an MOT price of £64 which I don’t understand given it’s above the max price set out and I’ve never paid this for an MOT on my previous cars. I tried to ask the guy who dropped my car back off about the cost and he had a very rude and condescending attitude. Spoke to me like I was a wee girl with her first car. Apparantly that’s ’just what they charge.’ He essentially tried to shove the paperwork he had at me and leave. My car now keeps alarming to reduce oil level since it’s service here, I emailed on Thursday (it’s now the following Friday) a photo of the warning message and asked for the car to be brought back in to have this fixed. I am still waiting for any response back. God knows what they put in my screen wash - could even just be water - but it defo isn’t what I had just filled it with anyways. I feel doubtful I’ll ever get any response. A shame as I used here given the positive reviews however I would avoid at all costs. I’ve had to take my car to a second garage to get their error fixed. 0.8L of excess oil had to be drained from my car.
I put my car in for an oil change, boot latch fault and a bulb replacement. The oil change invoked an interim service and the garage ran a diagnostic check which both added >£200 to my bill. The boot latch repair failed the next day and the bulb wasn’t replaced.
Can not praise this business enough. While driving from Norfolk to Glencoe my Audi SQ5 put an emission warning light on. Two main Audi dealers didn't/couldn't/wouldn't help, so then I googled an Audi Specialist and found this one. Quick phone call and David was super helpful and said call in and I will scan it for you. He did, diagnosed the fault and assured me I could continue my journey. If I was more local I would get him to fix the sensor as well. So it would be 10 stars for this business if I could. Fixed the problem but twice they have left me with no fuel. First time i gave them the car i had 130 miles left returned to me with 15. Second time 80 miles and left with 0! Prices seem to change dependant on who you get on the phone, was told one price when i dropped it off and a different one when i came to collect it. Radio station presets had been changed. All the screenwash had been used up and not refilled bit of poor workmanship in my eyes if you can be bothered to top it up with £2 of screen wash and water Passenger seat moved twice. Unless my car is being taken on a jolly ride why are my radio presets changed, left with no fuel in twice and passenger seats moved. Would suggest in future you put fuel in a customers car if you're going to use it and just bill them for the £10 you do put in, im not from this area so its a bit annoying to try and get it to a petrol station when i dont know where the nearest one is. No courtesy car as stated on website either. Wouldnt use them again as i cant imagine why you would need to drain a tank each time its with you, change the radio station if youre meant to be test driving the vehicle.
Very knowledgeable and friendly. Good prices and all work comes with a 2-year parts and labour guarantee as genuine Audi parts are used. My car needed extra work done that was only discovered when they started work on my car, but they were able to get everything done that day - and my car was immaculate when I picked it up! Highly recommended, I'll definitely use this garage again.
Car went in to get a water pump, thermostat, timing belt, throttle body & speed sensor fitted. Got my car back on Friday afternoon, the car has never ran better! I am that pleased with the work carried out I have booked it back in for a service. I would highly recommend this garage! Thanks for a great job well done.
