Complaint Regarding Unprofessional Service and Misleading Advice I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at your garage and the unprofessional conduct of your staff. I visited your garage to have my dipped headlight bulb replaced, bringing along the correct bulb (H7) that I had purchased from Halfords Auto Parts specifically for my car. However, after taking my vehicle into the garage, a young staff member returned 20 - 30 minutes later claiming the bulb I provided was incorrect. Despite my request to verify the correct bulb online, he insisted they would order the βcorrectβ bulb for me and also fit it, quoting Β£60 for the bulb alone. Trusting his judgment, I reluctantly agreed. Out of curiosity, I later returned to Halfords to double-check. The staff there confirmed via their system that the H7 bulb I had purchased was indeed the correct one for my vehicle. To further verify, I watched a YouTube video on replacing the headlamp bulb, did it myself using the original bulb I had purchased, and found that my headlamp worked perfectly. This experience has left me deeply dissatisfied with both your staffβs professionalism and your business practices. It is concerning that your staff misled me into believing I needed a different bulb and quoted an excessive price for something unnecessary. This not only wasted my time but also eroded my trust in your garage. I urge you to investigate this incident and take steps to ensure such behavior is addressed. Customers rely on your expertise and professionalism, and experiences like this damage your reputation and the trust of those who seek your services. I also cancelled my MOT because the service isnβt trusted this is a genuine feedback, I look forward to your response.

Thank you for your response to my email. I object to a number of things you have stated. The handbrake cable was not stuck whatsoever this has been confirmed by 2 garages independent of each other and also a mobile mechanic I find it funny it is only yourselves who have said this is the cause of the issue and tried to charge me for a new one. It was a fitting kit which had not been fitted correctly (which was fitted by yourselves and checked by yourselves) again this was confirmed by both garages and the motor mechanic (All 3 were independent of each other). The issue was solved by replacing the fitting kit. Secondly the appointment which you have stated I missed I advised you that I wouldn't be able to confirm a date due to commitments personally and work over the next few months and your mechanic advised me it was still safe to drive hence why I didn't get chance to sort it immediately. However then COVID hit and I have had to move to England. Yes I have asked for a refund as I don't believe you correctly fitted the required parts for the handbrake which you were paid to do and also checked. Thirdly I did not appreciate the lack of customer service being promised a number of call backs and non received by the time I was advised they would. I also took great offence to your mechanic stating the reason it had happened was because I drove around with my handbrake on permanent and didn't notice I was doing it. And with the owner accusing me of recording the phone calls which I did not do in any way. Would not reccomend at all.

Had my pride and joy in today for a Mot , unexpectedly the car failed on front and rear brakes. The guys in the garage called me to let me know and give me a quote after I authorised the work to be carried out. I was told a time the car would be ready. I then received a call to let me know the car was done and ready to collect. They had kept the old parts to show me and show why they failed they have failed. The staff are very friendly and prices are very competitive I highly recommend using them and will definitely be back in the future.
