   I was looking on the local facebook community page and an older lady had taken unwell. No ambulance was dispatched because she wasn't deemed a priority. This company offered to send a car free of charge to take the lady to hospital. A fantastic action which wasn't required as her family were able to be contacted. Well done.

   This is my go-to taxi company. Communication was excellent, regular updates and make and registration is sent to you so you know your getting in the right car. Driver arrived in jig time and the car was spotless. 10/10 would recommend and use again.

   I usually use Wellman to get home from work and they’re always great. the drivers are always lovely so are the phone handlers, the drivers always have good chat and I always feel comfortable. I’ve not had the nicest of experienced with my local taxi firm so Wellman is always my go to now as the service is always great. I would highly recommend Wellman to anyone seeking good service !!

   I was told up to 30 mins for a taxi from Aldi Hamilton. 30 mins, no taxi. I called and was told another 10 mins. Still no taxi. After an hour of waiting I called again. The girl who talks like she’s whispering then said I will now put a call out to all drivers. NOW!? So I waited another 15 mins and gave up. I had to walk home with 6 bags of shopping in the rain. This taxi service has been atrocious every time I have booked them. You’re told a waiting time but end up waiting 3 times as long or the taxi does not bother turning up. The receptionist is unapologetic. I’m so furious and I’m not one to get furious. I will never use this taxi service again , even if someone else calls and pays for it!!! I would rather make my way on my hands and knees through a snowstorm before ever calling or getting into one of there cars again.

   The app is really good and easy to use and there’s normally not a huge wait for drivers, however the pricing structure at the weekend is excessive. I understand there are a shortage of drivers, coupled with fuel (and other) increases, but I was charged just shy of £30 for a 20 minute fare from East Kilbride to Hamilton recently. I’ve paid less for airport runs or coming home from nights out in Glasgow City Centre. I noticed this a day later when I checked my banking app and contacted the office to be advised that the fare was correct and the manager Shannon was unwilling to do anything but defend the outrageous fare. There’s a 35% surge at the weekend that has now meant I have had to stop using them which is a shame as I was a regular user before, but it’s getting far too expensive.
