With AA assistance, I was directed to Farmers Autocare in East Kilbride. The damaged tyre I sustained after clipping a jagged kerb was dealt with promptly and extremely courteously. I was impressed with both Andy and James who were helpful and reassuring. I was back on the road in no time ! Thank you again .

I’ve used this garage a few times before for tyres without major issue, but my most recent experiences have been extremely disappointing and have left me feeling scammed out of over £1,000. When they replaced my last tyre, they somehow lost my locking wheel nut and didn’t even fit a replacement, they left the wheel with a missing nut entirely. I only noticed this myself and had to call them. When I went back, staff avoided dealing with me until someone eventually came out and fitted a standard wheel nut, not the correct locking one. No apology was given. I also had my radiator refurbished here at an eye-watering cost of over £900. When I collected the car, the coolant system hadn’t even been refilled; which could have seriously damaged my engine had I not noticed. On top of that, one of the staff casually pointed out that I had a flat tyre but didn’t actually bother to do anything about it. The customer service is appalling. You’re given no time with staff, constantly fobbed off, and it always feels like they’re too busy or too interested in their phone calls to actually deal with the person standing in front of them. Between losing my locking wheel nut, failing to fill the coolant after charging nearly a thousand pounds, and the dismissive attitude throughout, I would strongly advise avoiding this garage. Totally unprofessional and, in my experience, unsafe.

I booked my car in to get a new tyre on the passenger front and check the wheel alignment as advised by my own garage. The branch called and said the front tyres were ok but the back ones were at 2mm and that they we’re probably the cause of the car pulling, they advised I needed a 4 wheel alignment which they don’t do , I drove the car home and booked in on Saturday at the east kilbride branch .i had only dropped the car off 10 minutes when I got a call from branch manager Brian to return to the garage to see the damage on the front passenger tyre , i was confused as the other branch said it was ok . When I got there he showed me the dent in the tyre and that it was also cracked round the whole of the inside. He said the car should never have left the other branch without changing the Tyre as it was unsafe to drive the way it was. The back Tyre in the middle were also at 1.6 so would also need changing. The car was going have to stay at the garage until Monday as they don’t stock the right tyres as the car should never been on the road. Branch manager Brian was so considerate regarding my safety and decided to put a Tyre on so that I could get home . I now have to take time of work to take it back on Monday to get 3 new Tyre and the wheel alignment. This has been an extremely stressful situation which could have been avoided at the first branch.

I rear drum brakes where low, for rear brakes front brakes and a hand brake cable, on top of this they threaded the front hub and charged me £250 for a part they trashed. Charged over £1300 plus absolute con merchants. Wouldn’t recommend they are up there with the Halfords garages of the world. Update also discovered changing rims the had put winter tyres back to front as well cost more to get car fixed right from here than getting a car repaired.

I received an excellent service from Farmers in EK. What impressed me more was the customer service he showed towards an elderly couple that came in while we were waiting, his level of customer service was exceptional. Would highly recommend. Farmers East Kilbride.
