Fantastic service. I called in a panic about my exhaust bearing, which had crumbled suddenly before an essential long journey up to Aberdeen, they fixed it perfectly on the same day at a super reasomable price. Thank you so much JRM team, you were a lifesaver! Highly recommend. While you're waiting go to Portal Cafe round the corner for a lovely welcome and coffee.

My usual garage couldn't fit me in and they recommended I try JRM for my MOT. Fantastic service and they did my MOT really quickly and with no issues. Would definitely recommend.

Meeting Ian one morning when my car battery had died and I was trying to get help change it to new one, he came across as a very friendly and willing guy. He did help and he also kindly gifted me a little wrench set that will defo help in future. HE DID NOT CHARGE me at all! Troublingly, I later that morning had a clash with another vehicle and the front right wing and bumper and water reservoir tank were damaged and clearly needed changed. Rather than take my Kia back to the Kia dealership, I vowed to get Ian to do the work on it as he had been such a gentleman that morning. I called him and told him about it and that I would visit to show him the damage. I should mention the car was still driveable. A day later I drove over and showed him it. He then said he'd do it for £60. I considered this to be cheap, but I accepted that as he's the mechanic and I'm not. I asked for no favours as I do not know the guy. We agreed that I would get the respective parts sent there and when they were all there, I'd drop the car off and he'd replace the bumper, the reservoir tank and the right wing. This whole process took about 4 week to get everything sent. I called a few times and left my number too. In that period of time, I was pulled up for having my bumper as it was, so it really was pressing that I got it in ASAP and sorted. Eventually we agreed on a date after some back and forth and that I would drop it off in the morning. I did this. I dropped the car off first thing and then left it with them and headed to my job. This was approximately 8.15am. Later that day I was called by jrm Autos. I was walking at this point and the weather was awful so it was very difficult to make out what was being said to me, but I established that the was was 'done' and I could pick it up from 4.30pm. When I turned up Ian was not there but another mechanic guy. I took a look at the car in the garage but it was actually fairly dark. I noted that now the left wing, not the wing that was replaced, was actually now damaged and that the connecting lining that connects to the new bumper was split. I didn't really get an explanation about it either. In fact, I was just told that some of the bolts and nuts from the car had rusted. Fine I thought regarding the nuts, it's a car that's aged 8/9 years and nuts and occasional bolts can be replaced easily. I left and since then have noticed numerous issues with the car. One major point that I'd like to state, is that they removed the bumper and put it on my back seat. The old wing too they also did the same with and the reservoir. So, theze dirty car parts they put right onto my back seat that also had vinyl rolls from my job there. Not acceptable and downright disrespectful. I have a child on my back seat occasionally, and my seat is now also damaged as well. Tbh, I find it quite shocking and a bit of liberty just placing my replaced parts on my back seat. Anyway, I paid the 60 and was not even offered a receipt. More fool me! Anyway, fast forward 5 days until today and I'm handing the car to the spray painters. As I handed it in, he immediately pointed out to me other damage around my front right door, scratches on the edges has haoiedn since he last seen it, last week. He also pointed out that the trim hasn't really been clipped together using external car clips like it should be. So, for my hassle, the car is smashed further. The back seat, the right door, the left wing and my trust in any independent Glasgow car garage. Sorry to say it, but I'm deeply unhappy and wish I'd taken it to somewhere that charged me appropriately, and had basic manners in communicating when problems happen, like damage.
