   Do NOT bring your loved ones with additional needs here if you want them to be treated with respect, dignity and kindness. My aunt has autism and significant learning difficulties. She is a well loved member of the Wishaw community, and has been coming here for 60 years. Unfortunately she has been treated very poorly (on a couple of occasions) by one of the dentists recently, leaving her very upset. The latest interaction included not responding to her while she told him about her weekend plans, impatiently instructing her to ‘open her mouth’ eight times, and not allowing her support worker to hold her hand through treatment. What sums everything up though, was when he said to her ‘I know you can open your mouth wide because you do when you’re talking’. I encourage you to reconsider your attitude and remember your obligations under the 2010 Equality Act to make reasonable adjustments and treat disabled people with the same respect as everyone else.

   So frustrated that dentists not operating as normal...are they not essential workers ??? Came away with dentist still suffering same problem , , apparently I will be contacted when they have a new dentist , as the one who saw me leaves next day and they have no replacement in place as there's a national shortage...not good e ough I'm afraid...thinking of changing my dentist!!!

   Needed a repair to my crown……in a hurry. Managed to get an appointment and had the crown fixed the next day. All pleasant staff, happy with treatment.

   I was so pleased to have a dental appointment to have some issues checked out. As always, the staff were very courteous and helpful and a lot of attention was paid to giving me an in-depth check to resolve things. I'm always really pleased with the service provided and am happy to register my warm appreciation in these difficult times.

   I was a patient here since I was very young however ended up switching to another dentist last year. My final check up I was told that I needed 2 fillings, after 3 months I still hadn't gotten all the work done due to constantly being cancelled at short notice and waiting weeks for another appointment just to have it cancelled again and again due to my dentist being off sick. While I don't blame the dentist for being unwell I feel a replacement should have been organised instead of repeatedly cancelling. I had also found that anaesthetic was inadequate and fillings were very painful despite being numbed up twice after the first was unbearable, I thought I was just me at first but have had no such issues since changing dentists. Staff are friendly and polite but my most recent experiences over the last year or 2 were quite disappointing so heavily influenced my review.
