   Classic Edinburgh theatre, one of the places I can't remember *not* going to. Many fond memories of performances with my mum and friends. I quite happily go by myself. It feels like home and I'll be going to as many shows as I can muster. I truly wish that everybody in Edinburgh could feel the same sense of ownership of and familiarity with the Lyceum. Last 3 fantastic events were Underworld (or was that the Usher Hall? I get them mixed up), Faustus in Africa! and the Seagull, which reminded me so much of my family I spent the first half wondering if I was hallucinating. Now under the auspices of James Brining, who was previously at Leeds Playhouse, Dundee Rep and TAG, among others. A true visionary and genius, IMHO. And a very decent, kind and hilarious man. One of my favourite people, in the interests of full disclosure. I have high hopes for the future of this theatre and beyond. Everyone I've met feels the same hopeful excitement...'mon the Lyceum!

   We had a fantastic experience at the Royal Lyceum Theatre seeing The Glass Menagerie. The whole evening felt effortless — from the warm welcome by the staff to the comfortable seating and beautifully designed space. The production itself was outstanding. The performances were deeply engaging, the direction thoughtful, and the staging visually stunning. Every element came together to create a moving and memorable interpretation of Tennessee Williams’ classic. It was one of those theatre nights that stays with you — beautifully performed and perfectly produced. We left feeling inspired and already looking forward to our next visit to the Lyceum.

   Booked for 21st September…informed show cancelled 15 minutes before start , money will be refunded and to leave theatre. My wife and I went following day to re book for 23rd . Offered seats in a box or to sit separately ! Although married over 45 years still enjoy my wife’s company . Asked for consideration in sorting seats but no help or interest other than those offered. On returning to hotel checked on line to find several seats were actually available. We were deflated with all our experience and flew back home on the Friday. We have several other bookings this year around the country and look forward to those . The Lyceum building and history deserves better that to offer this experience.

   We were visiting Edinburgh for a few days and I bought tickets to see Wild Rose as an early mother’s day and birthday present for my mother. Staff were friendly, beautiful theatre. The gait and the legroom were great. The show was excellent, but my mum did struggle at times to follow due to her hearing. The performers were brilliant especially the children. Would recommend for a good night out.

   I've seen many shows here in my life, it has good, comfy seats and most have a clear view of the stage. Food and drink is overpriced as is it's wont in theatres, especially the San Luca Ice Cream, they must make a ludicrous profit margin off of that. Ticket prices can be extortionate if you're not under 25/Student/Arts Worker etc. so just be aware of that, but it is theatre, so expensive tickets are not to be unexpected let's be real. All the staff are lovely and welcoming, just the norm :)

   E-tickets made access easy and quick. Cloakroom was efficient and staff welcoming. Auditorium is lovely although leg room in the front row circle was limited. The production was wonderful and "An Edinburgh Christmad Carol" set the tone for this festive season. A great night out.

   Frist time here. Got there early, and we had a few drinks at the bar before we were allowed to go toour seats. Went to see Samsara, and wow, it was beautiful to see, i would recommend seeing them. Staff friendly. As we booked late, there wasn't much choice in seats. I was unaware there was a piller blocking the view, it did say restricted view but thought it was restriction on not seeing a part of the left stage due to sitting on the left. I was able to move a few row down as no one was sitting there. They have lifted to get to second floor

   Went to see Laurel and Hardy and it was brilliant. The theatre is absolutely beautiful it was my first time there in a long time. The bar area is very big and modern looking. The stage itself is nice and the staff were very friendly.
