Took my son here today for his first trim. Michael was brilliant with him. Whilst we waited, he popped over to say hello and play with his hair to get him used to him about to have his hair cut. When we sat in the chair, he was so good with him. Handed him a comb to play with, chatted to him and played peekaboo. He kept his trimmed hair and put it in a little keepsake bottle for us. Was so lovely. Thanks again Michael, he is proud as punch with his haircut and looks very handsome!

Took my little boy for his first haircut today after recommendations and it was a wonderful experience. Jack made it so special and gave me a lock of hair away in a little jar for our memory box. They Village Gentry did a wonderful job on our toddler, five year old and my husband's hair too. I wouldn't take the kids anywhere else.

Our first visit was a huge success. My son usually gets extremely upset when getting his haircut. It's something we dread everytime. However Michael was absolutely amazing, built a friendship with him first and took his time to gain his trust. By the time he got him to the chair there was not one tear in fact I've never known him so calm. Would highly recommend Michael fantastic service.
I took my two year old here today, and michael was amazing! My little boy and I were both pretty traumatised by his previous experience at a different Barbers. Michael was an absolute gent and I couldn’t recommend him enough!
After being recommended by several people , we took our one years old here today for his first hair cut. My anxieties over my sons first haircut was immediately eased due to Michaels friendly nature and how he went the extra mile to accommodate younger children. Michael was fantastic- very friendly, had cartoons/ lolly pops for children and sanitised all products. He even collected some curls for us to keep as a memory. Thank you for making Jacks haircut an amazing experience, we will 100% be back soon!
My husband and son have just been to Michael for their holiday haircuts. My son is just under 2 and is usually petrified getting his hair cut, so much so that the last time I thought I couldn’t put him through it again. To my surprise my husband called and said he did not get upset once and that Michael was amazing with him! His hair is also exactly like we asked. I am so so pleased and we cannot recommend enough! Definitely returning.
