   After using the same barbers for years, my barber left and the cuts just weren’t the same after that. So I stressfully shopped around for a new barbers, and just couldn’t find a place that cut to my liking until I stumbled across Upper Cut. Not only, did they make me feel at ease and cut to my liking, but the owner is so accommodating and understating when it comes to booking and amending appointments. Definitely worth checking out, prices are fair, customer service is fab, ask for Hayley - she knows her stuff!

   Buzzcut was good but the barber was making innapropriate questions. I am a man in my 20s and I guess I do look young for my age but she kept asking "is your mother aware you're doing this?" That is just rude and a baffling question to ask anyone who is clearly an adult. I don't even live with my mother! I told her I'm in my 20s and that question is not relevant and she just ignored it and asked the same question again. I have never had a hairdresser/barber patronise me so badly before. Avoid.

   Pretty tiny little shop with only four chairs for waiting customers and they generally only have one or two staff members there so if there's four people in front of you in the queue you will be quicker just leaving and finding somewhere else as you can expect to be waiting (standing) for way over half an hour. There's only maybe enough space for two standing customers only so if you come and it's full then bully for you son. If it's full then there are plenty other barbers down the road from the Tap Room around the corner or in the main street in Hamilton. There's also some fairly decent Turkish barbers up Low Waters Road with good parking and good service. Prices wise they are on the more expensive end of what you would expect to pay a bog-standard barbers.
