Big Jim has been cutting my hair for nigh on ten years, from having long hair to skin fades and has never left me feeling disappointed. Man can handle whatever you throw his way and is incredibly good at what he does Good service, good chat, good prices.
Really good barbers. Got my hair highlighted and cut a couple weeks ago. Really good colourist if your into your blonde / silver .. went back yesterday for cut again. Really nice staff and you also get a shampoo and condition you don’t get that service in many barbers. I had my hair done by the owner who’s a nice talkative person who knows a lot about hair really good products he’s brought out a MATT HAIRSPRAY! My new barber :)
After receiving a haircut from Josh I simply cannot go anywhere else. Friendly banter with the staff and legitimately the best cut I've ever had. Ridiculous to get that quality of a cut at such a low price

I stumbled across Urban Funk by accident 6+ years ago when I was desperate for a haircut and I haven't been anywhere else since. From day one I was made to feel welcome, the place has always had a different atmosphere to anywhere else I have been and it blew my mind from the start. Every cut is top class, a brief chat before starting is peppered with the teams expert knowledge and the best decision made for every client (relying on my own personal experiences). The chats with Jimmy make the cutting time fly in some of which can be deeply serious, hilarious and refreshing all at once. Well done to Jimmy and his team and long may Duke Street be blessed with their services.
