The Avenue barbers is a wee gem in Maryhill, If your haircut of choice is the comb over then welcome to the best Barbers in Glasgow at the style. Great staff, friendly, cheap compared with these clowns charging over 25 quid a haircut. Fully appreciated their services over the years

First time I have been to a barbers for over 20 years and was not disappointed with the service that I had received. I had a great haircut and I would go back again.
10 months ago, I gave a 5 star review as I was very happy with my cut. I returned again today and it was a completely different experience. I told the barber not to touch the upper half of my undercut as I am trying to grow it out, I only wanted the edges tidy to which she agreed to. She went in with the clippers on my longest hair and I had to ask her to stop as that's what I'd made myself clear on. Now I have paid for something I've been feeling very unhappy with which I really shouldn't have done as it will take me months to go back to square one. I complained that it's now too short for my radial brush to hold, her answer was to get a smaller brush. She also said it was difficult to use the clipper on a 1 and not to shorten the longer hairs. She also suggested that I gel or condition the parts that I don't want cut off- definitely a first. I will not be back.
My son hers his hair done here since he was a baby and they've never once cut it a step wrong. The girls are fantastic and the manager/owner is such a lovely woman she makes my son feel like he's visiting family he's that comfortable. Hair cuts especially comb overs are exceptional
AMAZING WEE BARBERS...been cutting my boys hair ever since it got messed up by someone else but thanks to AVENUE BARBERS they fixed it.... highly recommend anyone to go hear....and the girls are really there for YOUR HAIR
