   I came in for a full set of acrylic nails with a French tip, and the results were far below acceptable standards. Firstly, the nails are noticeably different sizes and shapes. The French tips are uneven, with some being significantly thicker than others. While getting them done my thumb started to burn really badly, I turned to my friend and told her and the guy came and sprayed my hand with some liquid as he must of overheard I’ve never experienced my nails to burn before. Additionally, you were clearly overbooked, accepting more walk-ins than your staff could handle efficiently. This led to a rushed and careless application. One nail was so poorly done that I had to return to the salon to have it fixed, so it matched the rest of that hand. However, the other hand is still excessively thick with paint, making the overall appearance very unbalanced and unprofessional. I also had to wait a good while until they fixed the one that was really bad (the last photo ring finger, so thick compared to rest). I wish I had said I wasn’t happy but I just thought I could deal with them and not go back but the more I look at them the more I’m upset. Can’t believe I paid £35 for these so disappointing.

   I’ve been going to ocean nails for every set of nails for 2 years now. Every set has been perfect and the staff are so professional. Everyone is so attentive, always get offered tea or a drink when you are in too which is a lovely touch. The staff are excellent at their work- everything is done correctly from prep to the final design. My nails always stay healthy and strong under every set I get (which isn’t always the case when I’ve been elsewhere in the past). No design is ever too much and the team are experts at what they do. I never write reviews but I felt this was so justified. Amazing team and amazing nails.

   Very rushed and haphazard. Nails are uneven and bulky. Paid £30 for basic acrylics without any design or additional artwork. Very disappointed.
