   I had a deeply unpleasant experience at this salon that I feel compelled to share—not out of bitterness, but out of care for others who might walk in expecting basic respect and professionalism. From the moment I sat down, the energy was cold and dismissive. The technician grabbed my hand roughly, without care or gentleness, and proceeded to rush through the service with no attention to detail. The work was sloppy, uneven, and felt more like a chore than a craft. There was no effort to make me feel welcome or comfortable. As a Black woman, I’m sadly familiar with the subtle and overt ways anti-Blackness can show up in everyday spaces. But it’s always jarring when it comes from communities who’ve also known marginalisation. There was no kindness, no courtesy—just a sense that my presence was unwelcome. This wasn’t just poor service. It was a reminder of how racial bias can shape even the smallest interactions. I’m writing this to protect others from experiencing the same harm. We deserve better. We deserve care, dignity, and respect.

   Im so dissapointed,my wee girl had nails done for her prom,we paid £35 for acrylic nails and today we find out that they are just fake nails!!!!Im furious!!£35 for fake nails!I will ask for refund,will not leaving this like that.
