   I am so delighted with the level of service and care and of course the most fabulous nails from Sunset nails , the owners Wendy and Jamie are the loveliest people ever , and all there staff are incredible , nothing is too much trouble , as a business owner myself I recommend SUNSET NAILS to All our clients , cannot recommend highly enough , been coming here since they opened , absolutely delighted with this Nail bar xx

   Really bad customer service from sunset nails. I made 2 December appointments online and had confirmation of the appointments. When I went for my appointment I was told that appointments could not be made in December. I explained that I had made them online already but was told they wouldn’t be honoured. Later they posted on Facebook to say appointments couldn’t be made in December. I commented to say maybe turn off your booking system as it is disappointing to plan appointments and them not be honoured. In response to this Sunset Nails sent me a message saying pretty much to go to another salon. I’m not sure I’ve ever been as gobsmacked or faced such bad treatment. My comment was said as good advice and said with good intentions to avoid them having this issue with anyone else. All I said was maybe turn off your booking system. I was not rude or offensive. I was very polite about it and was simply giving good business advice so, to be responded to with go elsewhere, has flabbergasted me. I honestly expected the response to be. “Yes it’s a good point we’ll turn off our booking system” or something among those lines. I’m not sure what was done on my part to deserve to be barred. I’ve never been told to go somewhere else in my entire life and the treatment I have received is entirely disproportionate and unreasonable after going to this salon every 3 weeks since February. I don’t mind if I know I can’t make an appointment in December, that is fine, but to bar me for simply saying maybe turn off your booking system to avoid disappointment is frankly crazy behaviour from a business owner. To anyone thinking of using this salon. Just know that you will never so much as be able to give an opinion even if well intended or constructive as they will simply tell you not to come back. There is no value placed in customers because they are busy so they can tell people to go away and think nothing of losing one customer. Customers are disposable right now for them. This is the most unchristian behaviour I’ve ever known from Christians! It is also very bad business sense. I listened and empathised when Wendy told me about issues she had with someone doing her garden and how they thought it was her being awkward but now I’ve also been treated in such an unreasonable way I can understand the difficulties others have had with her. I only went to Wendy because she told me to book with her after one of the other technicians cut my finger. The quality of work is simply ok but if you don’t get Wendy you risk getting cut snd after getting cut the same machine is used on the next person without being cleaned. I was due £7 off my last appointment and I said it is fine I’ll just use it next time. Every week I give a £5 tip so to then be told I now can’t use my loyalty card now that is full or the £5 voucher I have is even more outrageous. All because I said it was disappointing. Well it’s even more disappointing now. I don’t want the £7 back now as I’d have to engage with Sunset Nails and I’m so disgusted by the way I’ve been treated that I’ve blocked communication. It is all fine now while they are so busy but treat enough customers badly like this and fortune can change quickly in a town like Kilmarnock. I have added a photo to show my perfectly polite comment that caused them to tell me to go elsewhere. If looking for a nail salon maybe go to Kilmarnock nails across the road who have 5 stars for their reviews.

   Aggressive approach from the guy found my nails constantly hitting the light with the file and filling the skin around my nail. The nails are fine but nothing to rave about. Didn’t even allow me to choose colours where as others were offered this. They spoke to each other ignoring customers and barely checking in. very awkward experience and atmosphere.

   My nails were nice and good quality but, after removing them after 3 weeks i found my natural nails were left damaged and had banding from over filing the natural nail. Again my nails were lovely but my natural nails were left damaged and have taken ages to grow back.
