I had such a brilliant experience here – their customer service is second to none. From the warm welcome as soon as I walked in, to the friendly atmosphere throughout my appointment, the team made me feel completely at ease. They really take the time to listen, make sure you’re happy with every detail, and go above and beyond to deliver exactly what you want. It’s clear they genuinely care about their clients and take pride in their work. If you’re looking for a salon that combines professionalism with a personal touch, I can’t recommend Hollywood Nails in Newton Mearns enough. I’ll definitely be back!
Have had my nails done here twice now and very happy. Very relaxed and young guy took his time even though shop was busy, have been getting my nails done for approx 10years and this is best I have had
Had a mani and pedi. Staff were so kind and professional. Hand and foot massage were standard. I brought my own nail varnish and this wasn't an issue. My nails are beautiful now. Thank you all.
I thought I'd pop in and randomly decided to have my nails done. What was I thinking! Felt like I was an inconvenience, that i didn't really mind. My extensions went on which felt ok. Before painting my nails the male used his ragged bare thumb nails to push down the edges of my extentions. Then aftee 2 coats he said is that ok, well i politely asked for another coat of polish as i could still see the bare nail and bumps. I felt so uncomfortable and left. Next time I'll get the kids at nursery to do it, they'll make a better job!
I’ve been there multiple times as it’s the only local nail salon near me. I’ve always been a nail biter and my first time getting acrylics removed they were rough and the lady told me my nails were very short even though they were an average length at that point. The designs aren’t great and severely overpriced, I payed £42 for acrylics with a basic design on them. The colour range is good but when they give you a colour it’s always quite nerve wracking asking for another. They’re feet peticures are absolutely terrible, they’re so painful and I felt like I had a broken foot coming out do not recommend, the workers are rude and rough and almost always nearly break my thumb trying to get to it. Won’t come back!!
Worst place ever wee lady that works there with short hair so so so rude literally noones ever spoke to me like that. She made me feel so uncomfortable and I wanted to cry. Never going here ever again. If you want good service go elsewhere. Customer service is awful should be shut down.nails were done terrible I just wanted to walk out but had no time to go anywere else as last min :((((((
1st time trying this place. The staff are Chinese and they don’t appear to know much English and are certainly not conversationalists. I can see why some people might say they are rude as they are a bit abrupt and not a smile in sight but I think its more a language barrier. They both appear to work flat out, never taking a break and work quickly to avoid the queue waiting too long. There are loads of colours to choose from, the guy did my nails and although he never said one word he did a pretty decent job and I’m happy with my nails. A fluffy, chatty, pamper experience it is not but if you hate the usual small talk and prefer fast and quiet this is the place
nails have no shape and were done in a hurry. they look terrible and are different lengths etc. the guy was very rough and my nails are quite sore and were sensitive when getting acrylics. they look rubbish and are very untidy. never going back, such a waste of £38!!
Never been so disappointed. Took my daughter and her friend for a treat. Wanted a polish as this was cheaper and it was more within my budget. The lady rudiculed my choice telling me the polish would only last one day in front of other customers and the 2 girls. Felt obliged to go for shellac. They were rude, rushed and intimidating. My niece was nervous as she was having them done for the first time and she kept shouting at her to relax even wgen I explained the situation. The end result was not terrible bit certainly not brilliant. The people spoke to each other across their customers in Chinese which was very rude. I would never recommend and will never return.
