   Ordered some wood to make a fence. Received a phone call and the lady refused to have it delivered to the rear garden, literally making up excuses. Started with the driver might not be able to physically do it (no idea how a back garden changes the physical demands.) Then said driver might not have time (no idea how back garden changes time demands.) Then said the lorry might not fit round the back. Then I told her it's a big road and bin lorries use it. She then said the lorry might be bigger than a bin lorry. I don't want to be walking around my house with huge 3.6m lengths of wood. No idea what her problem is but I've cancelled the order as the customer service is terrible. She literally created a problem that doesn't exist. Cancelled the order and won't go back to them.

   Visited today and was lucky the yard was very quiet. Yard and office staff were friendly & courteous and COVID protocol was in place. First time I had used MGM and was generally impressed, won't hesitate to go back.

   Given the current restrictions it was very easy to place an order for shower and ceiling boards. I was told it would take a week for the boards to arrive and that they would call me. I called just over a week later and was told the boards were ready for collection but when I went it was only the shower boards that were available. I was told the ceiling boards would come in a few days later and again they said they would call. I called again a week later and was told the boards were not in but were expected that day and again they said they would call me. No call back so I waited till the next day and again was told they were not in but they would call me. I called the next day and they said the boards were available for collection. I picked up the goods but noticed a delivery charge on my receipt of £42. I asked about this and was told I would get this back however I was then told this was actually a charge to me by the company supplying the boards to have them delivered to MGM. I have never heard of this before and feel this should have been highlighted to me as a customer before placing my order which was for circa £1200 So in summary my ceiling boards were over a week late which caused me to have to rearrange my joiner and electrician, I was not kept updated by MGM and never received a call back despite being told an several occasions they would contact me. Also the attitude of the males in the actual shop were not what I’d describe as customer friendly when they were questioned about my order. The young lady however was much more receptive and courteous. Not a good experience for me and if I purchase similar products it would not be from this company.

   Have used this company twice now over the last month and I have to say their customer service was fantastic and being a novice they were very friendly helpful and informative. Their prices are very good too. Would highly recommend this company.
