   I’ve had many years enjoying shopping at Tesco Burnside on Stonelaw Road, largely because of the hardworking and friendly staff - the checkout colleagues and other team members are consistently excellent, and the bakery staff in particular do a great job. That said, I’m extremely disappointed to hear from the young boy serving me on checkouts today that the store manager is now making staff work on Boxing Day and New Year after the store being closed previously. It shows a clear lack of regard for staff wellbeing and for respecting the importance of time off during the Christmas period. After a demanding year, employees deserve time with their families, not to be treated as expendable. It’s greed from Tesco. The staff deserve far better from management, and this decision seriously undermines the positive experience they work so hard to provide. Totally disheartening.

   Young male cashier could not have been more helpful when I took a dizzy turn today at Tesco in Burnside today (23/11/). He packed my shopping for me and offered to help me to my car. Found me a seat until I had recovered. Very kind and attentive service. Thank you

   Wow, been going to this store for years but today was a terrible experience. Went through normal check out and check out operator asked if I wanted a receipt . On checking operator had charged twice for the same item making an overpayment of £9.20. Operator said I would need to go to customer services. Customer service said as I paid by card refund could take up to 7 days. I asked for cash and was told it was impossible. After long debate asked to see the manager. He immediately said it was their fault and to pay me cash. Both operators need a bit of training on customer service.

   After waiting for an hour for the overdue delivery FROM THIS STORE, I call up customer services (after a frustrating 20 minute wait) to be told the order will not be delivered because the driver wasn’t able to ‘safely make the delivery’. I’ve been waiting in for the order, fully aware that there’s parking up and down the street. The driver just couldn’t be bothered, for whatever reason. No call, no message - just a total no show. Worse still, they are not able to prioritise the order for delivery tomorrow. I’ve consistently had I reliable service from Tesco for home delivery. It has always been a poor quality and unreliable service - in various parts of the country. I really cannot stand this company any more. For an entity that makes unbelievably large profits, it’s clear that its customers anf their satisfaction are totally unimportant. Oh - and you can’t complain by email. It’s pretty clear why they make it hard for customers to lodge a complaint!

   Standard store. Toilet facility. Ģood to see servers on tills as well as the ever increasing amounts of self serve checkouts. Plenty of parking, although new parking restrictions have been brought in. Ideal place to park to use other shops in Burnside like Cafe India, Greggs or the chip shop.

   this is where I go to buy meal deals. I am a tad miffed about the recent increase in price but it is not a big deal for me. great atmosphere, good products

   Batman at the door almost rugby tackle me coming out the rong door I see the point if there wax loads of people coming in the was NOBODY get a life the world won't END IF SOMEONE GO OUT THE OTHER DOOR bit that was his hight light of the day its a shame they don't use piper spray your a guy employed so people stick a mask on there face you ant no police
