Their site tells you they are unable to accept eConsults until the 5th of January and to call the practice. You call the number and the call cuts off as the appointment line isnβt open. So how exactly am I meant to get in touch?

Impossible to get an appointment and when you do manage to fill in the econsult, they lose it.

Iβm absolutely appalled at the treatment I received. I was hung up on twice while trying to speak to someone at reception β even after clearly stating I struggle with mental health issues, including PTSD, and that I needed support. The receptionist showed zero empathy and made an already difficult situation much worse. She also refused to give her name when I asked to file a formal complaint. Given how long it takes to get through (20β30 minutes on average), being hung up on not once but twice felt cruel and dehumanizing. This has left me feeling powerless and even more anxious about accessing healthcare. This is by far the worst experience Iβve had with any medical practice in all my years. No one seeking help should be treated like this. I need guidance on how i can move to another medical practice or i fear the worst, the show no help.

This practice used to provide a much better level of care before it transitioned to the new βeConsultβ system. Unfortunately, the current format feels like itβs designed to minimise contact rather than genuinely support patients. While I understand the NHS is under pressure and cost-saving measures are necessary, relying solely on an online system has made it significantly harder to access medical advice. They also do not communicate with any other 3rd party provider directly which adds more difficulty for patients. What seems efficient on paper ends up being frustrating in practice. The process feels impersonal, creates unnecessary barriers to care, and may discourage people from seeking help at all. A more balanced approach that includes accessible alternatives to eConsult would go a long way in restoring trust and improving patient experience.

Absolute joke of a practice. Canβt phone to make appointments anymore have to do it all online then the GPs donβt even have the decency to call you back. They send an email back basically telling you to do all that youβre already doing to feel better. Same for my children aswell, doesnβt matter if it is a child they still donβt offer an appointment or even call back just send an email out with a link to an article. Added a photo from an email I received from them. Pathetic.

Very unhelpful. If you can get past the exceptionally rude and unhelpful receptionists, which is almost impossible, you are met with an entire truck load of red tape and nonsense timelines. Cancelling appointments with no notice, which would get you a snotty letter, well over a week to get a prescription and Doctors that when you get an appointment shun you off without actually listening to you. If you have a condition that requires you to see a medical professional regularly then find another practice because you will get very frustrated and upset by the service you will get here.

Edit: Most of the doctors have been good. I think the average rating of 3.6 stars is fair. All the doctors I've seen (at least three different people) have been great, very understanding and helpful. The nurses are good too, kind and friendly. As with seemingly all GP practices the worst thing about the practice is *some* of the reception staff. I appreciate it's a stressful job but it would be nice to be treated with a bit more respect. I have to say though, some of the reception staff have been just lovely so it's just one or two that let things down.

Dr selman is great but the reception team are awful. Iβm met with nothing but cold bitter attitude. Told I was sent a letter with an appointment date, which has never arrived at my home, and Iβm then chastised for missing the phone appointment despite not even being told when it was because no such letter has ever arrived, and Iβve been waiting on this call for a long time. They seem to think mental health is a joke. I have no idea who hired these people but the level of disrespect and pure nastiness is unreal.

Receptionist very helpful and always smiling. Doctors have always listened and been so helpful. Dr Philpott and Dr Selman both been very attentive and caring over the years.

Will its been 3 months, now I've had skin problem and first doctor was not doing much just prescribing me medication, and every time I went to see her she rushed me. I didn't want to see her again so I went to another doctor told him everthing he was very helpful, but unfortunately still been nearly 3 months and I've not been reffered to a skin doctor. Everytime I phone its not possible to get an appointment I've been in pain this weekend but they said I can get a appointment untill Wednesday so funny I've been waiting to see doctor all weekend and they can't see me. Very annoyed and depressed with my skin problem I wish they could help.
