How very sad to receive an email notification this morning that the Bath store is closing down. Another prime High Street brand leaving Bath. I am extremely disappointed and somewhat perplexed as to why your email is promoting shopping on line. Is it any wonder we are losing our retail stores, when the stores themselves are encouraging customers to shop on line. Internet shopping is convenient but it does not replace the shopping experience of being able to feel fabric texture and quality, seeing true colours, trying on different styles. Yes, there is a recently opened larger store at Cribbs Causeway, but many women prefer to shop locally. I hope the vacated store will not stand empty. Nothing worse than an empty, abandoned shop, of which sadly there are fae too many in our towns and cities.

I made an appointment for a bridal fitting at Phase Eight Bath Flagship store in March this year and staff were really helpful. I had seen the dress online and drove to Bath especially for the appointment. It’s the first dress I tried on and bought it straightaway as it is elegant and sensible price. I waited to post this review after my wedding. I washed the dress on a delicate programme after the wedding and it dried nicely on a hanger. Great quality and highly recommended.
