   Always clean and tidy, staff seem.to be few and far between. Never to busy to browse and have a slow stroll about. Toilets on 1st floor and are disabled accessible..

   It's very nice and tidy and has lots of baskets by the door. Having a good look around for some clothes for myself. Really need some cycling shorts and came around a member of staff who actually took me over to the place where all the choice was. Went upstairs for my husband and got him some jeans. Then, we went to the garden section and got ormanment, which wasn't planning to buy!! Went to the till ,guide to the right till by member of staff thete was a quey billing up but luckily the lady that help me find my shorts jump on the till her was name was Millie . She is very professional at her job and asked if I like a Matlan card, and I normally say no, but she made me feel that it wasn't going to be long or trouble . Excellent service, thanks, Millie. hope you get to read this.

   Why do I need to give an email to shop? not only that. One staff member said stand by this till to be served 20 mins later while the person behind the tills messes around with clothes or returns or something behind the till.

   It's ok I was kinda disappointed that from my previous visit many years ago it's now not as good there seems to be nowhere near the amount of items available in quantity and range of almost feels like it's been gave up on . The lift has a fault the door takes ages to open and close on the 1st floor though it looks like it's being attempted to be fixed as instruction manual was open on top the lift so I expect that will be fixed soon. I did like that although there is a few self service checkouts which I hate I do appreciate when I hear the member of staff saying to people they can use self service or be served by her what ever they feel more comfortable doing wich is nice having the choice and not pushed in to using self service and also being given the option to pay cash or card. I feel I would have gave a extra star if there were more items like how it used to be im not sure if it's like a end of season change over or something being the reason for it but review is based on thoughts at the time. It was still nice to go anyway and have a look around as needed towels anyway.

   Great shopping at Matalan. Prices are very reasonable and well displayed. Great choice for men,women and children. Some great deals in the sale but you should look online first as not a lot of sale goods on show at the shop. Buy online and click and collect in store for free.

   Visited Matalan in brislington the other day and was more than pleased with my service, i asked a lovely lady if she could show me where the Christmas section as I had to pick up some more bits and bobs for Christmas and a few prezzies for the grandchildren, she was so polite and showed me to everything I needed, then I overheard someone talking that the employees only get paid £4.81 if their under 18. This made me sick to my stomach, that’s just about a meal deal from tesco nowadays, people need to be paid more in this cost of living crisis it’s disgusting!
