   One of my favorite places to shop. Parking space always available. Staffs are friendly. Their Parkside tools are incredibly good, both reliability and value. My engineer friend highly recommends it too. But avoid their Silvercrest, not reliable at all. For groceries, their own brand is good, I did say much better than Aldi brand, for the same price, Lidl always better.

   Best supermarket. Prices are good and if you are shopping on a budget lidl or aldis are the best options. Very rarely do I shop in the big name supermarkets like Asda or Tesco. Lidls own brands are really good quality. Their own brand bread is onlyb55p a loaf as opposed to £1.70 for Warburton and the quality is just as good

   Staff are really friendly and the layout of the store is good. Other stores aren’t as intuitive to follow. Used this store throughout COVID and this was much safer to use than other local store eg Asda as much safer to social distance. (This was really impressive) Friend found the WiFi didn’t work so they couldn’t access the Lidl rewards card because the WiFi captive portal didn’t display.

   Smaller store than the others around this area and more often than not with a much poorer selection of products. Even at midday much of the fresh bread was already sold out and wine selection is about half of what they have in the Motherwell store. Often find too that there is only one checkout open. And on my visit today despite telling staff member at the checkout the code on my 6 pack of cola he cheekily responded “you want me just to guess?” Is that why he’s wearing a camera?

   Update: Service is still often excruciatingly slow. Understaffing has seemed to be the new efficiency drive in many retail outlets, so nothing new here. It is well maintained. Clean and tidy, usually well stocked and prices are certainly better value now as the other big supermarkets begin charging a gold bar for a loaf.

   the wishaw store is ok i suppose if your going for bread and milk...if its stetsons and wetsuits your after try larkhall or Hamilton as wishaw seems to get all the stuff the other stores can't shift.
