   A friend recommended Friend4u when I mentioned my Dad had recently moved to the area and was lonely. I contacted Friend4u and met Glenn who agreed to take my Dad out. Initially my Dad was very reluctant. Glenn always treated my Dad with care and respect and his communication skills and patience are impressive . The service provided was tailored to my Dads interests and needs. Dad enjoyed his outings so much we increased them to twice weekly. During the last 2 years, Glenn became a friend of the family and when my Dad became very ill the care and support Glenn provided to both my Dad and I was exceptional. Than you for attending my Dad’s funeral in the East Midlands it meant a lot to me. I would highly recommend Friend4u. Glenn thank you for everything I hope we can keep in touch.

   Friend4u is an absolute gem of a find. Glenn is a real pal for dad, who suffers from Alzheimer's, taking him out for a game of snooker twice a week so dad can maintain a social life. Glenn is super friendly, joyous very entertaining and great with dad and mum too who also has dementia. A genuinely caring and empathetic person, who treats dad with dignity and respect, we trust Glenn entirely to always act in dad's best interests. We highly recommend the services of Friend4u, nothing is too much trouble and we find it excellent value for money. It's such a pleasure when dad returns in a happy mood after a good game of snooker, the benefits to dad in terms of self respect and sense of belonging make a real difference to dad's contentment. Glenn is a real tonic for dad and the whole family.

   It’s hard to know where to start with writing a review for Glenn and Lee. They started visiting my fiercely independent 89 year old Mum about 18 months ago. They would visit for 3 hours once a week and help her with small chores around the house and take her to her appointments. She absolutely blossomed in their company and so looked forward to seeing them each week. They became her friends and confidants. Whenever I rang her she talked animatedly about what they’d done and where they’d been together. For her 90th birthday mum and Glenn spent a day together visiting the gardens on the Duke of Westminsters Estate. She talked about how much fun they’d had for weeks afterwards. Today we said our final farewell to mum and both Glenn and Lee were there to support us. I hope never to lose touch with them. Everyone that is lucky enough to grow old should have a Glenn and a Lee in their life. They are simply fabulous.

   Friend4U take an elderly relative out on a weekly basis to visit places which interest him and he really enjoys his outings. When I went on holiday Friend4U visited regularly, took him shopping and ensured he was well. Without this additional support l couldn't have left him for a week. Friend4U provide a very professional service which is person centred, caring and tailored to meet the needs of the individual. I would highly recommend Friend4U.
